I cannot say enough good things about this app. Or the customer support. It seems like, almost on a daily basis, features are being added or current ones are being improved. It’s very encouraging when Apoorv reaches out to you personally, to see how things are going, and to see if something can be improved to make flow better

Wish We Had Switched Sooner
After years of running our inspection business on Spectora, we switched to Hive, and I can honestly say I wish we had done it sooner.
I was hesitant to make the change because of the perceived hassle of switching inspection software, moving everything over, and learning a completely new system. That concern turned out to be largely imaginary. The transition to Hive was surprisingly easy, and the software was intuitive enough that we were comfortable with it very quickly.
The biggest difference is that Hive simply works. With Spectora, we became accustomed to bugs, flaws, and workflow issues that we either had to live with or find workarounds for. I submitted numerous requests and suggestions over the years and can’t recall a single one actually resulting in a change.
My experience with Hive has been the complete opposite. When I report a bug or suggest an improvement, they listen. Numerous fixes and features I have personally requested have actually been implemented, surprisingly quickly. There is currently only one remaining issue I’ve brought to their attention, and they’ve already told me a redesign addressing that area is coming.
Their customer service has also been incredible. They’re responsive, helpful, and actually available when we need them. It feels like you’re dealing with people who understand that inspectors are running businesses and can’t simply wait days for an answer when something isn’t working.
And to top it all off, Hive costs us less.
After using both platforms extensively, there really isn’t a comparison for us. Hive is more reliable, more intuitive, backed by far better support, and the company genuinely listens to its users.
If you’re using Spectora and have thought about switching but are worried about the hassle or learning a new system, that was my concern too. Don’t let the fear of changing software keep you stuck with something you’re unhappy with. The switch was far easier than I expected.

The app is great and the service is outstanding. Positive changes are made on a regular basis based on suggestions from home inspectors. Hive also won’t sell your client’s data to 3rd party vendors unlike other platforms. Hive makes inspection reporting easy and quick.

Great Home Inspection Software
I’ve been using this software for several months now and it is far superior to other software I’ve used. Use it on my iPhone, iPad and a windows based laptop and rarely have any issues. The software was built by an inspector, for inspectors. When there is an issue it is resolved very quickly because you actually talk to a human rather than an AI bubble. Any issues I’ve had were typically resolved before I end the session. When needed, the Hive team will actually get on a video call with you to help resolve issues. Best inspection software out there.
