Loss transactions
The transactions can be lost easily even you run it completely. Once you closed the batch with the app , you won’t get paid for that lost transaction!! One more problem, the credit card tips that left by the customers was clear out with no reason. Very disappointed with this Heartland app.
Additionally Features
The app needs the option to input the food and the price already and when you make a sale you just select all the foods you want so you don’t have to figure up the total and input just the total. Plus so it shows on the receipts what each item cost and not just a total of what they spent.
Inconsistent
This thing is over due for an update. It’s more buggy than it has ever been in 6-7 yrs I’ve been using it.

Not user friendly
I notice a decrease in tips because the app is not designed for customer to understand it as they are checking out. The buttons are also hard to find and there is a lot of back and forth with the chip reader and many unnecessary button clicking to proceed.
Bad update
New update makes the keypad entry screens useless. App is completely unusable now. Needs to be fixed immediately!
Not recommended
We used this program for 3 weeks and had numerous issues with it. The card reader completely stopped working with IOS 8 release and they have yet to update the app.
Customer service told us that we could "enter the card numbers manually". We bought the hardware for this app so that we would not have to enter numbers manually. Therefore, the app is a failure at a core level, and not recommended at all.
