What happened to it? App doesn’t let me see the English version
Something is really wrong
I’ve had this app for a very long time and never had any issues but suddenly everything is in another language that I cannot read or understand. If you click on the contact support right here on this app page it takes you to a page that says..there’s no such page…lol. So there is no actual support for the app. This is unfortunate since I’m no longer to actually use the app. Annoying

Latest version HUGE disappointment
Used old app every day especially "Community" forum. That meant I was seeing all the latest yarn info, deals, new items EVERY DAY. Latest version fried everything I found useful. Will delete it. STILL USE HOBBII YARN and the website but will only access I've in awhile so LESS PURCHASES. Sad.
Free pattern catalog removed 8/2026
I only used the app for the patterns but was told that YarnInspirations.com offers a similar catalog for free that Hobbii has since taken away, to move toward a more SHEIN type- buy$buy$buy$- type of app. That’s a shame yall!!
The App update is awful!
Before I was able to see how many grams each yarn has, it would let me see hook suggestions. Now, I can’t even see the full description because it’s in this little 3 x 3 inches square that can scroll up and down but not left to right. Fix the app please because I LOVE your yarn!

Don’t like the app now…
So was there an update? Because now I can’t find where I play bingo and not sure if I like the update at all!! I’ve been playing bingo for YEARS, and now I can’t even figure out the app to play…

Hobbii yarn has been my choice for purchasing mercerized cotton yarn and now crochet hooks. The quality is superb and the prices are great. Looking forward to my next purchase.

I saw the bingo game on their website, was curious, and then read the membership rules to see if playing was free, or only after making a purchase. It’s ‘free’ to play, but by entering at all, you give them permission to use any form of your likeness they can find in their advertising FOREVER, without notifying you or getting your consent. I.e. they could just start pulling pics off your IG or your Ravelry and using them anywhere they want. That’s disgusting.

Best place to buy yarn. I prefer it over local art supply stores. Always have a huge selection and amazing prices. Their customer support is also great!

Was good until AI
I have bought yarn here for years, but after learning about how you guys use AI despite the environmental ramifications and its damage in the art industry, I will no longer be using it and will be putting my money to better mom and pop yarn shops.

I deleted this app after finding they don’t pay a fair wage to pattern makers and they are starting to use AI, while I was using the app I found it to be very glitchy, as far as scrolling and using filters during the search
Used to be my favorite
I used Hobbii for the last 8 years and used to have nothing but good things to say about the company and the quality of products. The new change in ownership has brought a noticeable decline in quality and I’m beyond disappointed with the push for AI use. I hate to leave a company I’ve adored for years, but I can no longer trust the quality or current direction of the current owners.
