Second driver
While price seemed good I was frustrated not to able to add the cost of a second driver at the time of booking leaving the final cost cost something of a lottery!! Not ideal!!

The system would not allow me to pay a UK hire in GBP!!!!!
Be extremely careful
I was double charged because they apparently don’t pay Dollar and Hertz, creating serious customer service issues during pick up. To make matters worse, when you contact Holiday Autos customer service the make you rebook and tell you they will refund you, only to email you saying that oh well the had revised and will not proceed with the refund. They have been scamming the rental companies and now are also scamming their customers. Never using them again.

Poorly designed App
Many things need to be fixed on this app! (You have to put your booking reference every single time, when booking the categories offered are different from the one from the website) and the chat is not great (again you have to start from scratch every single time as it doesn’t keep what you have already typed when it transferred you to the real chat)

Very bad
I want to share my disappointing experience with Holiday Autos’ app and website. I rented a car through their platform, but when I arrived to pick it up, I found that the vehicle was not the one I had booked. Instead, it was much smaller and in poor condition. I recorded a video of the car and immediately contacted Holiday Autos to resolve the issue. They told me they would investigate and get back to me within 20 days.
Despite my request for a refund on the spot, they refused. After two months of following up with them, I was finally informed that they would not be issuing a refund.
I strongly advise others to be cautious when using this website or app. Based on my experience, you might end up losing your money with no proper resolution.

Can’t log in anymore and it seems to block iPhone from filling in any info

Update Idea
Really need to be able to save your booking within my bookings section. Having to search every time I open the app is a bit of a pain.
Awful and full of bugs
Love this company but this app is awful. Put in pick up location. Fine. Put in pick up time and the app freaks out. Suddenly starts asking for the pick up location again. Jumping screens, etc. I just re-installed this app and will now delete.
Why doesn’t app save bookings?
I’d give it 5 stars if the app saved booking details after you entered them. If you have to write down reference so you can enter it again, what do s the point?
Said payment failed when it didn’t
Awful experience with this app. Tried multiple times to book, each time it said there was a payment error. But then I discovered it had put several authorisations on my card (each one using up more of my credit, which will take 7 days to expire) and made 3 duplicate bookings. Terrible, terrible design. No other app I’ve used has this problem.

Never got my refund for cancelled car hire - won’t using them again.

Seems to work - I put in my booking ref and email and my booking appeared, with info I need.
Tried to add flight number but it said there was a problem, so will have to do on a browser.

Still awful
I downloaded it for the paperless check-in thinking I would be able to upload all the required ID checks, but no such luck. Seems I will have to request my utility companies to post me bills, which shouldn’t be necessary these days.

Keeps old bookings on the app cannot delete cannot import new bookings made on my account on desktop needs drastic overhaul and updating
What has happened to HolidayAutos?
They used to be a slick and easy way to book a car and manage your booking. Now, nothing seems to work. Can’t access my account or find bookings. Clunky and unusable!

Rubbish app
Holiday Autos need to up their game with respect to a working app. Currently you’re unable to search. While the app does open, it’s entirely unresponsive. Off to seek out a viable alternative for a number of rental car bookings.
