Who is rating this app 5 stars? Onboarding took 10 minutes, and then my order failed due to something about my email address. Uber eats was 10x easier to order from.
Separate delivery status, a significant flaw
I placed a delivery order and thought there was no way to see when it will arrive, where the driver is, or even when it was picked up from the restaurant. However, in a separate email from the original receipt, a tracking link was included. This is a suboptimal user experience, but it is adequate

Love Homestate…the new app?
Love this place. But I miss the old app TBH. This one feels way clunkier, even when it’s working properly. Many more steps to do simple things. And then, it’s buggy. I had entered my cc info after it failed to complete via Apple Pay. And I had to start over twice to get the “continue” button to activate so I could complete the order.
Hopefully it’ll improve with time, but at the moment it’s not the best part of the homestate experience.

Delivery Fee is outrageous
HomeState is one of the BEST restaurants in Los Angeles. I rate them 10 STARS! This app is not bad but the $9.95 delivery fee for 15min away is insane. Boo ChowNow, if this is your fault. It’s not like HS to rip people off i wish they would fix this. There’s already a delivery minimum!

Always on point and the service is excellent. I would like to point out that during these unprecedented times the team at Home State are consistently providing excellent service and are to be commended for their steadfastness through rough times small independent restaurants are experiencing. I hope those that read this so the staff love and appreciation, overlook small mistakes and be grateful these folks are still able to provide us with delicious food 7 days a week. Best Breakfast Nook in LA
Absolutely love this family owned breakfast place. You can taste the love the food was made with. I hope Homestate understands it’s unique and meaningful impact to its community. Delightful tasting food and the sense of family community. I live in the San Fernando Valley, but keeping coming back almost every weekend. Love your food and the kindness that perfumes from your restaurant. You are a local treasure.
