Bugged mess
Terrible user experience. You’re unable to log in with Apple more than once. In the recent update it stopped working altogether.
Log in with google doesn’t work either.

Echoing the concerns of many others - Scam
TL;DR
- Do not download or pay within this app
- No refunds
- Merchant sales food from vendors that don’t exist
- Borderline scam with no recourse (no customer service)
- Delivery options changed during payment to takeout
- Never got my food
I downloaded the app because their website for ordering kept crashing. First red flag. My desire for umami burger, which I haven’t had since covid, created a lapse in judgment, so i decided to order from this app. My order was for delivery, but the receipt was for takeout. I caved and drove to the pickup location and was utterly disappointed and frustrated. The food vendor had never heard of the app. I did not get my food, and to add insult to injury, not only was the food vendor closed for the day, they never served this food and they would be closing for good. The aftermath has been worse. There’s no options in the app to get a refund and the only method to contact “Go by Citizens” is through an intake form for business. On top of the many bugs with this app, there’s virtually no customer service and you should abstain from downloading and using this product. It’s a borderline scam and apple should have this app removed considering the plethora of negative reviews echoing these concerns.

Glitchy app
App only allows login through Apple ID. All other options (email, google, etc) take you to create an account and then says you already have an account and ends there with no way to proceed.

Took my money, cancelled my order, and never delivered my food.
Ordered food and got charged for it. Then it sent me a text with link to track my order. The link was a DoorDash link. After waiting more than an hour, the DoorDash link said ordered cancelled. The food never showed up and they never refunded me. And they don’t have proper support. It’s impossible to reach any support person to request a refund. Submitted multiple message inquiries in hopes that someone reaches out to me but nothing for over 24 hrs.
