Bugged mess
Terrible user experience. You’re unable to log in with Apple more than once. In the recent update it stopped working altogether.

Echoing the concerns of many others - Scam
TL;DR
- Do not download or pay within this app
- No refunds
- Merchant sales food from vendors that don’t exist
- Borderline scam with no recourse (no customer service)

I downloaded the app because their website for ordering kept crashing. First red flag. My desire for umami burger, which I haven’t had since covid, created a lapse in judgment, so i decided to order from this app. My order was for delivery, but the receipt was for takeout. I caved and drove to the pickup location and was utterly disappointed and frustrated. The food vendor had never heard of the app. I did not get my food, and to add insult to injury, not only was the food vendor closed for the day, they never served this food and they would be closing for good. The aftermath has been worse. There’s no options in the app to get a refund and the only method to contact “Go by Citizens” is through an intake form for business. On top of the many bugs with this app, there’s virtually no customer service and you should abstain from downloading and using this product. It’s a borderline scam and apple should have this app removed considering the plethora of negative reviews echoing these concerns.

Glitchy app
App only allows login through Apple ID. All other options (email, google, etc) take you to create an account and then says you already have an account and ends there with no way to proceed.

Took my money, cancelled my order, and never delivered my food.
Ordered food and got charged for it. Then it sent me a text with link to track my order. The link was a DoorDash link. After waiting more than an hour, the DoorDash link said ordered cancelled. The food never showed up and they never refunded me. And they don’t have proper support. It’s impossible to reach any support person to request a refund. Submitted multiple message inquiries in hopes that someone reaches out to me but nothing for over 24 hrs.

DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP
Worst experience I’ve ever had with a delivery service app. The customer service is non existent. They take your money and if you try to dispute you only have an email that responds in 24HRS.
Doesn’t work
Impossible to order without opening an account and impossible to open an account because phone code doesn’t arrive and when it arrives it’s “wrong”. Customer care or “help” don’t exist unless you are loggeg in, which cannot happen because of the problem above. I requested the code 7 times, and none of them work… 🤷🏼♀️ Too bad, the idea seems awesome.

One Time Code doesn’t work
My team wanted to order lunch to work, roughly 10 different teammates, we’re u unable to order because the one time SMS code wouldn’t work for anyone.

The food never came and worse… they cancelled after AN HOUR behind scheduled delivery. This app is a literal joke! They texted me tracking from a DoorDash link… The TLDR - Unless you’re looking to throw money away for no reason don’t buy this food app
Food was terrible
The bun of my burger was completely soaked in grease and squished apart under my fingers. The fries were soft and didn’t have any salt on them. I ate the two patties. Really disappointed because I liked this place when I went in person :(
No Orders Correct
We’ve been using this app for multiple orders now, and no orders have been delivered right.
We’ve received refunds, but when you are expecting food to eat, we would hope at least one order would be correct.

Didn't receive my food
I didn't receive my food and I didn't even get a refund. Get with the times, this app needs a help chat that can investigate & refund you on the spot. I called and they said they were going to fix it. The representative didn't even know what restaurant it was. They should be able to pull up ordsrs. So many things needs to be fixed with this app. You guys can pay me later. Free business consultation for you

Placed an order, paid via Apple Pay. Everything worked great, will order again especially with the no fees!
Order was never received and I was charged
Absolutely don’t use this app. I downloaded to pre order my meal at an event as it was being advertised all around the park.
After waiting 45 minutes for my order, I approached the staff and they had never received both my orders. They made me provide proof of purchase and my receipt, which was all valid. The manager told me I’d get a refund. Nope — was charged and had to ultimately file a dispute. Never got my food either. Total garbage.

Poorly made app
I’m sure the food will be good, but this app is clunky and not easy to use. No indication if someone will. All before delivering, no option to cancel, literally no options for anything. Just call the store. The store doesn’t know anything about the app or can answer any questions. Won’t use it again, will just use door dash.

Don’t download if you live in SF. The closest restaurant they use is in Oakland and they won’t deliver to SF

UPDATE: the customer support link from the App Store goes to a 404 page not found. Apple this shouldn’t even be on the App Store!!
Missed half our order, and then there’s no customer support, nobody to call because the app does nothing to help - they blame the driver which is from Doordash, or the restaurant which can’t control order since it was made from the app. Nice SCAM! Do not use, they just take your money and good luck getting it back when there’s no one to contact

Terrible Food Delivery App
Not one of my orders have ever come correctly. Missing items, incorrect items, destroyed sushi rolls etc. The app also has tech glitches, malfunctions, and doesn’t allow for calls to some of the restaurants. Do not get or use this app.
Great 1st impression
We decided to try this place after my boyfriend read the review in the Sac bee. We ordered the smoked pastrami alla Dario & Nono Dario. Both sandwiches were fantastic in their own right.
The pastrami was bold in flavor and served warm. The Nono Dario was exactly what I wanted— light and flavorful. The mortadella was delicious and balanced perfectly with the lemon aloli and pistachio pesto. The bread was soft and held the liquid well.
We will definitely be working our way through the entire menu! The quality of the ingredients really shows and Cici de Carne is something special to try.

terrible app, no fees which is nice but theres no way to get a refund if your food is missing. there isnt even a way to contact your driver or even track your order so youre just in the dark. dont get the app
