Good value with many issues
Migrated from Guesty for Hosts when it was discontinued. Hostex seems to be a good value if looking for a low cost PMS. It does have many issues that I have also sent to customer service team. Hopefully they are taking a look at it them.
- Finance reports are useless. I have to manually review every reservation in the booking platform and manually calculate sales tax due at the end of the month. Need better accuracy on finance data coming in from the different booking platforms (accommodation vs cleaning vs taxes, etc.).
- No short codes for number of adults/children/infants/pets to be able to add to a message and confirm with guest prior to arrival
- direct booking site is terrible, no capability to customize, add info pages or rental agreements
- no capability to auto-charge final payments for direct bookings.
- no way to automatically identify & tag repeat guests
- no way to add reservation tags to tasks for communication to cleaning team
Might switch to a more expensive PMS to avoid all the manual work.

The is the best all around pms I have ever use. I have used several major pms, this one is by far the best and the most affordable one.

This app is really impressive! I have one STR that I list on Airbnb, VRBO, and booking. I have used guesty for hosts for 3 years, but greedy guesty is closing down the platform and forcing users to upgrade to a more expensive platform. I searched for alternatives and found this. The price is unbeatable and the software is actually even better than guesty.
I’ve only been using for a week, but wanted to spread the good news. This app rocks. It has tons of integrations with all the major players and I don’t think anything is missing. I’m also surprisingly really impressed with the AI message capability so far. I’m very glad I switched!
My only complaints are:
1. It doesn’t offer a dark mode.
2. You can’t change your default home screen.
3. It doesn’t display guest photos in the app. Maybe API doesn’t share those for privacy reasons, not sure.
Hopefully devs can add those options!

So close to outstanding
This PMS punches way above its weight class at a fraction of the cost of many other providers.
It has features and support for stuff that no other PMS even comes close to.
However it is so buggy you might not have the patience for it.
I just spent 30 minutes trying to upload a receipt image. It simply will not work unless I force-close the app and relaunch.
Owner reports are already so clunky and tedious and then every time I try to work on them one gets stuck and we cannot generate reports until that previous request is manually reset by support team.
If these folks could tighten these and similar bugs up it would deserve top marks.
In the meantime be ready to be chatting with support team easily once a week.

Amazing and sleek
Can do much more than mainstream channels, for a fraction of the price. Fantastic interface, clear price updates, great direct booking engine with customizable downpayments.

Este PMS tiene un paquete de funciones super completo para el precio que tiene que es irrisorio. Cosas por mejorar, si tiene, son Nice To Have mas que realmente cosas vitales para funcionar. Entiendo que lo que no se gastan en comerciales nomadas soltandote demos infumables lo implementan en darte el precio que dan. Muy recomendable.

Do not use this platform
If I could give it 0 stars I would. They double booked one of my homes. Customer service takes forever to respond. They will put the blame on you as well. Never received notifications from them, even though notifications were on. Waste of my money. Don’t use them.
Account suspended after trial period with no way to subscribe
Awful support by chat, they don’t let you subscribe until you have reservations in Airbnb. And if you are not on Airbnb , they don’t allow to subscribe. I don’t understand the logic behind!

Both good and not good at the same time
Lots of really great features but definitely some things they need to work out too, starting with the error messages and the limitations that come from bringing on properties that you cohost. The personal booking site is also confusing and doesn’t actually provide a link unless you jump through several hoops to get it. It also isn’t prominent enough to bring anything anyway. There is seemingly no way to truly and easily reach support and they make that pretty known by just connecting you to a bot. I like it a lot, it’s made my life quite a bit easier, but it does have room for improvement

Dangerous
This is a dangerous app to try and use, because they don’t pull over your settings from Airbnb, I have never had instant booking allowed yet they allowed it without me knowing, and I blocked off dates on Airbnb that they didn’t transition over so now I’ve had instant books on blocked dates without me knowing, so now I’m gonna get charged by Airbnb. They also make you wait five days to cancel so you have five days where people can instantly book block dates and cause you absolute mania on your Airbnb. Do not use this app.

Great prices and even better support
The price is far cheaper than others but there is so so much available and the value is amazing. It actually does what they say and there support is amazing. Not sure why I tried anyone else before using hostex.
Great app, and slowly getting better
The app works well it may feel that it is still in early stages for some parts, but overall works fine, it allows you to do lots of configuration stuff without having to use the browser on PC. Notifications need some improvement as when clicking on them it does not open the app in the right place, overall a good experience, also support has been great, not sure why the other review complained about it.
