I think this new update has broken my game every time I submit an answer my game crashes and I have to restart the app to be able to use it again

Charged Without Using the App - Refund Denied
I purchased this application to give it a try, but I was charged even though I ultimately did not use the app. I requested a refund, but no refund was issued.
I’m disappointed with the experience, especially since I was charged for a service I didn’t use. I would appreciate a more transparent and customer-friendly refund process for situations like this.

Hi, Purchases and refunds are processed directly by Apple, so unfortunately we do not have the ability to approve or deny refund requests ourselves. We’re sorry to hear about the frustration this caused.
Pay to use only
It won’t even let me try it for free and doesn’t inform you that it is pay to use only. You get a 7day free trial and that’s it. This seems nicer than duo but man the app looks great but learning should be free or a one time purchase not a subscription.
Literal scam
To have a word displayed on your lock screen for $50/year is crazy work. There is no way I am even continuing with the trial. Anki license is cheaper than this, most likely vibe-coded, garbage

Just to clarify, the subscription includes quite a bit more than the lock screen widget: there are structured lessons, writing practice, high-quality real audio, review tools, and other study features throughout the app. We also support importing Anki decks, so you can keep using existing study material rather than starting over. We understand the price won’t make sense for everyone, though, and appreciate you trying the app.
