App can’t link my subscription therefore I can’t see anything on it

Great Magazine but TERRIBLE APP

There’s no excuse for this app

Active subscription blocked by “Must have subscription” error - support ignored evidence

With an active subscription, the bottom half of every page is covered with a message stating, "To view this content, you must have an active subscription," followed by "Success." Responses from Customer Support have been useless - e.g., they replied with the same link I had already sent them, ignoring the screenshot showing my subscription was active.

Design

I am unable to read H&G on your app to which I have subscribed and it is very frustrating - also unable to contact support.

‘There is a connection error’

App clearly not running properly. Cannot activate account even though I have paid for a subscription. I have tried many times to gain access and the same message keeps coming up ^ … I have tried several WiFi connections and 4G. It is not a connection error. CN customer service really not helpful… don’t waste your time!

Can’t activate account

Called customer service to help they can’t help at all, this app is pointless really

Does not work

I bought subscription through iTunes and essentially through $100 in the toilet. The app does not work. There is absolutely zero help from them and like previous subscribers have mentioned I go into a single circular zoo of British Vogue and not Housing garden which I paid for my subscription for what a waste.

Once I am able to access my subscription

I hope that once I am able to access my subscription that it will be worth it - but I have never had so much trouble accessing an App. It just doesn’t work - and I am person who works on computers all the time and have lost of digital subscriptions.

Useless

App constantly logs out and loses the info plus login doesn’t work most of the time. No help with support email. Wouldn’t bother with this you can never access the magazine!

Awful app

Agree with other reviewers, this app is an absolute waste of time. Always connecting issues, fails to log in, I have deleted it from my phone for good.

Dead End

Renewed my subscription. Try to link with my account, says it is already linked. Try to sign in to my account, says to link the subscription. I have been stuck in this loop for a week now. Customer Care via email are totally useless and in the same loop as the app. I cannot access my subscription and cannot login to the app. Nightmare that nobody seems to be able to fix.

Beautiful

We’ll simply beautiful magazine and the online version is fast. Love it.

Clunky and user unfriendly

Jerky page changing. Difficult to remove read issues. Content often disappears when offline. Do better, CN!

Terrible awful app

I subscribed to a yearly subscription through apple via this app. It worked fine for 2 months then suddenly stopped working, it wouldn’t refresh the magazine and kept saying I didn’t have any subscription. I deleted and reinstalled the app a bunch of times, reset my password, I reinstalled purchases. I spent waaaay too many hours of my life on this stupid thing. I contacted conde Nast, they told me to contact apple, I contacted apple, they told me to constant the app developers which is Conde Nast, I contacted them again they told me to contact apple. Still haven’t got any resolution and still haven’t got a refund for the 10 months I paid for and didn’t receive. Wasted £30 for nothing. DO NOT USE THIS APP you will lose your money and waste hours of your time!

Paid annual rate and Can’t set up my account online

I have paid for my subscription in November, 2023. When I tried to set up
My account to view online- it sends you on a continuous loop with British Vogue. I received an email telling me that I have an account and must use that email. I need assistance and find where to ask for it on the page.

Doesn’t seem to work for past issues

I bought a subscription through iTunes that should give me access to past issues, but only the most recent issue seems to be readable. Any past issues say I’ve already bought a subscription but then say I need to log in or restore purchases to read the magazine. Which seems like a waste of 5 bucks so I def canceled my subscription instantly. I wonder if buying thru their website works and thru in app purchase doesn’t or something.

Terrible

Terrible the app doesnt work dont but

App’s stopped working

The House and Garden app launches, then immediately stops/shuts down. Have tried rebooting the iPad and the problem continues.

so far, no response from customer service, either.

Crashes at start on new iOS. No updates in 3+ years
