Gardens Illustrated magazine
When Gardens Illustrated moved its magazine to the App I was a bit unsure if it would be as accessible as the previous digital form of the magazine. Now I have had the App for 2 months and love it. The magazine is still there, but plenty of extras and it’s very easy to navigate through different sections of the magazine, so that I can dip in and out rather than flick through the magazine page by page. I love all the inspiring articles and beautiful garden photography, even though I garden in Australia on the other side of the world.

A lovely interlude
I love opening up the articles during my working day and absorbing the details and imagery. It brings me to a new place and inspires me to get stuck in when I can get out in the dirt.
Nuisance
I probably won’t bother to renew do the the annoying fact that you have to sign in everytime you open the app.
Complete your collection
I’m invited to complete my collection for a fee but as I took the same offer some years ago to fill some gaps in my subscriptions, AppStore/GI tell me I’ve already purchased it, but this is a new request! Apple Support have been unable to resolve issue and so here I am asking the developers... please. Cheers

Incredibly disappointed in the way it looks
This app makes a beautiful magazine look like a website or blog and it’s very disappointing. I tried a sample on the kindle app on my iPad and it looked great, like turning the pages of the mag, and I could still zoom in etc. So I downloaded the official Gardens Illustrated app and purchased a subscription through it, thinking it would be the same and it’s definitely not. Text is typeset separately to the images and you have to scroll down like a blog. I’m over looking at blogs, I wanted a magazine but without the storage issues, as I’d like to keep it for reference. Am I getting a setting or preference wrong or the app? I’d really like it to look like the sample I saw.
