Wird auch beim Edge Explore 2 nicht erkannt
Hallo lieber HRM Team, nachdem ich zunächst keinen Erfolg mit der Anzeige der Herzfrequenz auf dem iPhone und der Apple Watch hatte, ist es mir jetzt gelungen, die Funktion zum laufen zu bringen. Der Edge Explore 2 ist nun da, koppelt aber nicht. Möglicherweise ist mein Probeabo heute ausgelaufen. Liegt es daran? Der Preis an sich ist fair. Aber: Ich möchte ungern für etwas bezahlen was nicht funktioniert.

Tönt nach einem Problem zwischen Apple Watch und iPhone 🤔 Auf der Watch wird die Herzfrequenz denn angezeigt? Wenn nein: Start drücken und kuez warten — danach müsste es auch auf dem iPhone sein. Beste Grüsse Dominik

Die App funktioniert leider nicht wirklich.
Wenn sich der Sensor überhaupt verbindet dann nur nachdem dem vorherigen ent- und wieder gekoppeln (teilweise brauchte ich 5 Versuche).
Und nur weil sie dann verbunden ist heißt es nicht dass es auch so bleibt, hat sich leider während der Fahrt wieder verabschiedet.
Ich kann die App leider nicht weiterempfehlen.

The HR is shown on my Apple Watch but isnt send to the hammerhead 3. There is always a HR of 0

Hi, If this happens, you have to press „Cancel“ on the bluetooth permission request that‘s shown on the iPhone. I personally use the app with my Karoo 3 and know that this is a bit confusing. Best regards, Dominik

Spent the entire free trial week to make it work and never connected. I'd like a refund.

Die App muss fast immer als neuer Sensor gekoppelt werden. Selbst wenn sie mal funktioniert, kommt es oft zu Abbrüchen. Manchmal, wenn die App laut dem Wahoo elemnt als verbunden angezeigt wird, erscheint die Herzfrequenz trotzdem nicht auf dem Bildschirm. Die 5€ sind für die schlechte Funktion einfach zu viel, die App kann ich nicht empfehlen. Die Begründung des Entwicklers, es läge am Wahoo scheint vorgeschoben, alle anderen Sensoren werden ja auch automatisch erkannt.

Funktionierte einmal
Habe Hardware, mit der alles funktionieren sollte. Es hat eigentlich nur beim ersten einrichten problemlos funktioniert. Danach wurde der Puls, egal was ich versucht habe, nicht mehr übertragen. Einzigste Lösung ist das entkoppeln und neu verbinden vor jeder Fahrt. Und das funktioniert auch nicht immer und dauert immer ewig.
Dafür sind sogar 5€ und ein Stern zu viel.

Worked a couple time
It worked a couple times then it is no longer showing heart rate. Bluetooth connects fine, but no heart rate show up on my watch and phone. I checked Apple Watch heart rate app, it’s fine. Not sure where else to check
With Garmin 1050 only allows HRM or phone connection
Unfortunately with my new Garmin 1050 I can only get the HRM or Phone connection (notifications, live tracking, weather, etc). Not both 👎
Great workaround, couldn’t get it working.
Tried to get this working with Garmin edge. The garmin connected without much headache, but I could never get HR to actually push to the computer.
My watch would show my heart rate, and record a workout, but the phone app never seemed to get into a state that would grab it and push it to the computer.

DOES NOT WORK WITH BOLT 1
I followed all the steps, connected the sensor to my Wahoo Bolt 1. Started the HRM, started a workout on my wahoo and it didn’t work.
Works with Wahoo Bolt with some work
I have the app working with my Bolt. I really like it now. My tips:
1) Leave a few minutes before riding to get it running.
2) Make sure the Elemnt or Wahoo app is not running. Also make sure Background App Refresh is turned off for those apps.
3) Start HRM apps on both phone and watch. Make sure you see HR on both devices.
4) Be sure to Start the app on the watch.
5) If you have already added the HRM sensor, _delete_ it. I have to add the sensor back on every ride or it never connects.
6) Answer No when it asks whether to remove HR from your computer pages.
7) Add the sensor back.
8) Wait for several seconds for the HRM sensor to connect. The sensor should show the HR on the settings screen. If it just says Connected, it won't work. It will show N/A for BPM on a workout page. Make sure the watch app is Started, not just running.
9) Check an activity page to confirm you see HR.
10) If no HR, reboot the phone and begin again.

Unreliable and Unusable with TrainerRoad
Great idea in theory. Attempted use with TrainerRoad. Aside from needing three devices (Apple Watch, phone, and another device to run the TrainerRoad app), the Bluetooth disconnects constantly. Multiple attempts with the same result. Other than having to wear one, a chest strap is better in every way.

Wahoo Element v3 funktioniert mit Problemen
Beim Wahoo Element Roam 3 funktioniert es nur wenn ich die App auf dem Wahoo zunächst trenne und neu verbinde.

A great idea I couldn’t get to work; I’ve a Roam v3 so thought it worth a try but sadly the watch app wouldn’t even register a heartbeat on my Apple Watch. And yes it does in apples native app.

Frustrating
Not worth it. 1/4 rides collected data. I’ve done all the things before my rides to ensure connection but today the app disconnected 2 minutes into my ride (Wahoo Element V2). Didnt notice until an hour later. But even then, If i had noticed i would have had to stop my ride and take 5 minutes to delete the HRM from my unit, turn off Bluetooth, turn back on Bluetooth, close and re open app, stop and start watch app, reconnect to Element, and hope that its actually broadcasting my heart rate or do this again 3 more times until it does *sigh*

Does not work on Garmin Edge explore 2
Finds it, comes up on Garmin but fails to connect, even though Garmin express is not running. Disappointing. It would be great if this could be fixed. Or if Garmin just decided not to be so protectionist ( now all Garmin users are going to buy Wahoo next time)
