The digital security device log in doesn’t work. One day it popped up all the information don’t give your details out etc.
Try to log in with the codes it gives you then locks my app becuase of failed attempts. I’m using the codes and reading the instructions they are telling me and prompting me then locks me out.

It is better than the website but feels like it is at least 10 years older than any other app. Freezes often and with limited functionality.
Great App for Simplicity
I love the HSBC Biz Banking app. Soo easy to open and use. I’d recommend it defo. 🤩
No notifications re payment
The app is okay, but the biggest issue I have is that there is no way to set up notifications if money comes into the account. This means I have to manually check every time I’m expecting something which is a real pain.

Rejects the codes from my security device (same one I use to log into the website) and threatens to lock me out of my account if I continue trying to log into the app. This is not particularly useful, and I don’t have the time to or interest in making a support call. At least the app doesn’t crash on launch, though, so it’s better than the Android version in that regard.

Worst app
It’s so behind compared to other banks. It’s so basic, with no branches open either and phone lines you have to have 8,000 passwords for to speak to someone or they lock you out - you just can’t get much done.
They seriously need to look at other banks like Monzo for example who are so much more current with everything being in the app if they’re wanting to close down all the branches they need to have the systems within the app to support their customers.
Wouldn’t bother.
Will be switching asap.

Still a bit clunky
Have been using this app for some years now and it hasn’t changed or improved much over that time compared to other apps I have used but still it is fit for purpose, just not that great
