Helpful for those teen moments

I was feel frustrated and not sure if the boundary I was holding with my teen was right or if I was being over protective. It was so helpful to chat with an expert and get advice. I was able to reframe how I thought about it and it changed the dynamic. Thank you!

Exactly the kind of parenting support I needed

I’m really impressed with HumanUp. One specific way it has been helpful is with my seven-year-old, who has suspected/undiagnosed ADHD and really struggles to fall asleep at night. Instead of spending an hour searching online for advice that may or may not apply, I was able to get calm, practical guidance that felt specific to our situation.

The advice helped me think through bedtime in a more thoughtful way — not just “try a routine,” but how to support a child whose brain and body have a hard time winding down. It gave me language, ideas, and a plan I could actually use that night. As a parent, that kind of support in the moment is incredibly valuable. Five stars!

Easy Parenting Advice

I’ve been using HumanUp for a few weeks and really like how natural the conversations feel compared to ChatGPT or Claude.

I’ve especially appreciated talking with the AI version of Dr. Ned Hallowell. As a parent of an 18-year-old with ADHD, it’s been helpful in thinking through how best to encourage and support my child.

Great for range of ages!

We have kids ranging age from 16 to 7 and have been impressed with the insides provided on topics related to all of them. This is a great tool that we will continue using on a regular basis!

Access to real experts

I was frankly surprised at how useful my conversations were with these experts. We have a 10-year-old boy and good counsel is hard to come by, especially awake in the middle of the night.
Convos with real experts in so many different & helpful domains. The conversational manner is super cool, I especially found useful the fact that I could share the conversations & takeaways with my wife so that we could collaborate.
So much better and deeper than ChatGPT help.

By far my favorite AI use case

As a first time mom to a 14 month old, I found myself opening Reddit to scour parenting forums for advice on anything from behavioral questions to feeding questions or anything in between. I still take out my phone several times a day to ask ChatGPT or Reddit questions to only leave feeling like I either got non-specific responses or like I now have more questions than answers. HumanUp has been a saving grace for me to feel like I have a personal assistant in my pocket that can actually help immediately in ways I trust that so many other platforms just… don’t and can’t. It gives me tailored guidance based on my parenting style and as an avid AI user, this is one of the most genuinely helpful tools I’ve come across. I wish I could shout this from the rooftops to so many parents of kids of all ages. I know tons of people who would benefit from this and would feel less alone and confused on how to navigate parenthood.

The best/fastest path to great advice

Loving this app so much - congrats to the team! The advice is so targeted and kid-/situation-specific - it’s 100x faster than trying to search for it online or read it in a book. What a great docket of experts too. This one’s going on my home screen.
