Too many issues
This app has too many issues. Constantly crashing and becoming unresponsive to not even being able to login!
Useless
This app is useless. Like many I bought Hunter Fan with the smart capability but at this point with this useless app you can’t use the smart functionality. What a waste of time and money!
Expensive and so so bad. Hardware sucks.
HomeKit fail. 1 of 3 fans “No response”. Power cycle works once then “no response”.
Connections to Alexa
Since installing four of these fans, I have no luck connecting. I’ve been trying for days with no connection. Keep getting needs to be on the save network. I tried that many times and still unsuccessful.
Pure Garbage
Got the fan with the hope of using this app. Setup was easy but the the device went offline after 2 weeks of usage. Customer service is technically clueless.
Supposed to work with Alexa? I think not
Worked with Apple home hit but cannot get it working with Alexa to save my life. I have gone through everything and I work in the high tech software space.

HORRIBLE
the worst fans and customer service. I’ve been trying for WEEKS to get help on my fans that won’t connect. A guy named Randall from customer service (or IT support) made an appt with me to help me and then ghosted me. I stayed home from my kids game for that appt. When I reached out, he said, “ I’m sorry I couldn’t make it.” No cancellation. This company is the worst. Don’t waste your time, buy another brand. They’re not standing behind their product and customer service is seriously lacking.

Still garbage after all these years

What’s the point of having a nice app if the software doesn’t connect to the fan. It’s a great concept, but doesn’t work.
Very bad
App does not work, does not work with Alexa, Google. I finely connected my fan to the app, but then there is notice "no response", then I could not delete that fan (because it does not respond). So, it is just trouble and problems all the time I would rather return that fan.
I regret buying Hunter “smart” fans
I bought two Hunter smart fans to replace 15 year old ceiling fans. I went with the smart fans for control via remote, app, and Alexa integration. The remote works sometimes (not the App’s fault) and the app almost never works. Still can’t get the fans integrated with Alexa via the app. It seems Hunter just wants to sell me more stuff in their app instead of making the app functional.

Horrible Company, Horrible App
Once again another example of a company cheaping out their app development to someone in India or another “off shore” company who then uses AI because they lack the skillset they said they had to do the work. In the end is an app that does not work.
Frustrated
This app used to work fine for the most part. For four years. Now, it doesn’t work at all. All my fans are disconnected and no longer work via Alexa or the app. To add them back, I am going to have to get up on a ladder higher than I want to go and scan the RFID codes per the instructions in the app. Why did you have to change what wasn’t broken?!?! I don’t have time to waste on this. The whole reason I bought these fans is because they are smart.

Absolute garbage
This app is one of the worst I’ve ever used. It won’t connect to my Google Home, it won’t let me change the WiFi the fan is on, it barely works to actually control the fan. It took over an hour just to connect in the first place and now that we have a new internet provider it’s completely useless because I can’t make any changes.

Worst app
For almost two years, I have been trying to work with this app. At one point, it connected with the fan and was working ok. Then it stopped working, mind that it connects to the home app, but it will not connect to the hunter app. Contacted the hunter customer service and after numerous emails, their answer is that the WiFi module in the fan is bad. But if the fan connects to the home app, how is the WiFi module bad? I’m still confused.

Terrible app
This is the worst app I’ve ever used! I did everything correctly, and I’m only able to turn the fan off using the app, I can’t turn it on. Whenever I try to turn it on using the app, it constantly toggles between on and off, and nothing happens. Plus, Alexa integration doesn’t work!
Won’t sync my fan to the App
I have troubleshooting and it still does not connect to the app and therefore I cannot then activate Alexa to control the fan.
Bad software or bad hardware?
I know that smart home devices are hit or miss, but I wasn’t able to get either of my two fans working reliably as smart devices. One never connected to the Hunter app and the other connected after a few tries but always showed offline after the first day. In addition, the app was never able to connect to Google, so the smart features are completely useless. The chat interface for setting up the fans was also very tedious. At least the remotes work as expected.

No longer working after last update
Garbage. This was working for years .. the last update borked the app I can no longer control my fan with the app at all
