Fans become unpaired for no reason

If I don’t use the app to talk to the fans in a while, they become unpaired, causing me a super annoying journey into the ends of the attic to re-pair them. There’s no reason for this.

App Analytics Unreliable

App temp analytics get stuck after a few days of use and no longer update. Analytics text status is always out of sync with live data.

Update

August 15th update. Nothing to update. Spoke to two different "customer service" peeps. 1st one says historical data on test rigs works fine. Continues to gaslight me that it's user error. 2nd technician says it's a firmware issue. Working on a solution. So once again. The app/firmware is very poor. Depending on who you speak with...support is very poor. Fan itself rocks. But I purchased the fan for data collection...a smart fan. Which continues to be advertised on QC website.

Aug 7th update. Nothing to update. No historical data, app remains unusable. See below.

July 15 update. Fan rocks. App horrible. No update for a month since pulling the app. See below.

June 21 update. Hardware still rocks. Removing my 5 stars for the app just now just started to not work and no more analytics. This time I won't obsess and contact technical support for no support. I'll simply wait until the app come back on line.

Rocky start. Now very happy. Couple weeks ago I posted essentially great hardware, very poor app and not so great support. After a couple calls with Matt (Customer Support) I am both very happy with the app and the hardware. Thank you Matt for your follow up.

Great fan

This is a great fan and I can see it clearly reducing my attic temperature during summer. But, I do have issues in accessing the fan status and runtime statistics. Relying on Bluetooth only for access means I have to be close to it to and cannot see the run status when I am away from home.
The analytics page could use some improvements on the app as well. Fan info page says attic temperature is 94, analytics page says 79(I think this is average, but page does not call it out) and chart is over 100. Page interactivity is pretty bad even though it looks good

Hot and humid southern attic

We had our roof redone and they took out our attic fan and covered the whole saying that it should passively ventilate. That was a huge mistake! We put in this smart gable attic fan and now it’s better than before! Humidity issues fixed and temperatures in the home are so much easier to maintain. We have had it for just over a year and there only a few months where it ran a lot, and a couple of months during the winter when it didn’t need to run at all.
