I am $.95 short of the minimum withdrawal requirement and what a coincidence the last two transactions with $4 plus in total cash back does not appear on my recent transactions. Since the that’s the case I cannot open a ticket because the transactions don’t appear. My receipt shows I use my loyalty card but it’s interesting that I am near redeeming and nowy transactions are not appearing. No customer service. Just the run around and generated responses which gets you nowhere. Don’t waste your time on this app!

Very Bad app!!!
I’m really disappointed with Ibotta. My account got deactivated for no clear reason, and customer support was slow and unhelpful. If an app handles money or rewards, there should be clear communication and fair treatment. I can’t recommend it based on my experience, and I hope they make some serious improvements.

Maintenance fee
Paying a $4 a month fee to hold money that I should have reimbursed to me that you could save in an interest bearing account is ridiculous in every way. I will be deleting the app and never using this again. Enjoy the money you pilfered from the time I used saving it.

I’ve been using and sharing the Ibotta app for a few years now. It has earned me money on most shopping trips! Real cash, not just “points” or credits.
I rarely have any issues using the app, but any time I do need help, the Ibotta team is very responsive and fair.

Cancelling because of the fee emails
Ibotta started out fine for me. I haven't used it much lately, and because of that, it's been sending me emails about deducting a fee. It takes forever to get to an amount to withdrawal, so I'm not gonna bother with Ibotta anymore.

Been using it for years! I don’t get a lot of the rewards that I feel sometimes are for extreme shoppers so that is why the 4 stars.

I love Ibotta it saves me a lot of money if I really put my mind to it I could get a lot more but it’s just time consuming. But it’s sure worth it
Scammers
These people will have an offer, but make you go through hell to get it submitted every time. Nothing is easy. I know they are doing it on purpose so you won’t go through with submitting your offers. Or else they’re totally incompetent.
Works most of the time, tech support is usually awful.
When it works it’s great. Every little bit adds up and that is nice. Often when something b stops working it’s very hard to get support to juunderstand your question. Example of latest bug with recent update: eBay linked account rebate requires you to launch in app browser which is fine. But lately the main “shop” button throws you over to the eBay app instead which will not then count toward your shopping session. I tried and tried to get them to understand that it wasn’t working. They kept instructing me how to link my (already linked but logged out within app) account and start a shopping session on eBay. They kept considering my request closed / solved which necessitated me starting a new one to tell them it was still not working and to please stop closing the request until I confirm it has been solved. And they would immediately respond with the same solutions. Lather rinse repeat. Super frustrating. It’s still not solved weeks later. But I got a workaround on my own by clicking on one of the subcategory shop buttons which do still at least work correctly.
Updated again 6-1-26 and it’s still (not) working the exact same way.
Still not working 7-11-26 I did find that you can get it to work by deleting the eBay app which forces it to give you the choice to open the in-app browser or install/reinstall the app. Choose the in-app browser. However, actually browsing Ebay on a small device in the browser is a pain. So I have to uninstall it every time I wanna buy through Ibotta.
Also, many times when o have to scan a receipt such as Petsmart it can’t detect the date and tells me it’s missing. Also doesn’t pick up rebates so you have to go through the whole rigamarole to submit a correction.

Do not use
The most stupid cash back apps I have ever used. They take the money away if you are inactive for a while. So rude and unreasonable. I don’t think this is the sincere way to treat your clients. Don’t want to see anything about this app.
