Great app if it works
I’ve had Ibotta for years and have loved it until recently. I keep getting an error message saying the server can’t be reached and can’t get into the app at all. This had happened before and I started getting cash back debited from my account because I wasn’t using it since I couldn’t open it! I finally deleted and then reinstalled the app and that seemed to fix it for a brief time, but now, even that isn’t working. I even get notifications on my phone to add missed offers when I go shopping, but when I tap the notification, I just get the same error and can’t do anything. I am really disappointed and hope this can be fixed as I loved it so much and I still have cash back to redeem on my account! I can’t recommend Ibotta until this is fixed - it really has been my only negative but it is a pretty big one!!

Not worth it
I have been using this app for almost a year. I have followed all their guidelines and purchased many items off the store’s list of items that pay and Ibotta only pays me for about one of every ten items I purchase. It is a total rip off they are pocketing the money they claim they are going to give to you.

Love Ibotta
I love I bought it. It is so easy and didn’t get add up very quickly for you. It’s the best app I’ve used. I highly recommend it and I do to my friends.
Wrongful Deactivation
I have been with Ibotta since it started. I have always shopped at several stores and turned in several receipts a day. They deactivated my account and kept over $200 that I earned. When I emailed to ask why I got an automated email. A human never answered WHY. So frustrating.
Run by criminals
Maybe half of their offers are actually paid out. I’m so tired of getting the exact item from an offer and having it rejected as ineligible. Just be honest. If it’s not eligible for payout then don’t offer it as an eligible payout. I understand this basic logic is complicated for many folks, especially the criminals that run this scam of an app, but let’s learn how to be honest grown ups maybe….

Terrible terms of service!
This app deactivates your account for the stupidest reasons. My account was deactivated for sending my referral code with people I know. Isn’t that what they want you to do?? And they deactivated it the moment I was about to cash out my earnings. I should’ve listened to the other people when they mentioned issues like mine. Don’t waste your time on this app.

Not easy
I scanned several receipts and good scans but they can’t read them other apps with same papers are ok. Then retake and retake. Not but problems.
Missing cash back
This summer I didn’t receive approximately $30 dollars in matching offers and bonus. I have contacted Ibotta 3 times and have had no response. I have been using Ibotta since 2013. I have enjoyed saving money on products that my family uses.
False advertisement
I purchased alcohol and inside was a cashback for six dollars and it’s not allowing me to process it

Easy to use and great customer service if you encounter a glitch. Easy to rack up a lot of extra cash if you pay attention to bonuses too! :)
