Health Scan is a Health SCAM
The Health Scan: Heart & Sugar (blood glucose & pressure track) app that I purchased through the Apple Store on August 9, 2026, is a true disappointment—not only because of your deceptive marketing but also the refusal from your company to allow Apple to refund my purchases (app AND subscription; $79.99 and $39.99 respectively).
I purchased your product(s) in good faith. I trusted Apple would always stand by the products it sold. Hong Kong Vivid Ltd. grossly misled me into believing this app could take measurements that require additional hardware. The promotion(s) sent through social media are egregiously misleading and border on false advertising.
When I contacted the developer(s), I was told in no uncertain terms that nothing involving a credit card would be addressed. Yet Apple won’t issue a refund for either purchase, despite my repeated appeals for escalation.
I see now Health Scan app(s) have more than their fair share of negative reviews, myself included. I will continue to disparage your app(s) to the greatest degree possible until I’m allotted a full refund for both purchases.
The developer’s business ethics are despicable (if they exist at all). I trusted them (and Apple) as a developer to provide a product that lived up to its claims—stated or implied—and now I’m stuck with a useless app and accompanying subscription I’ll never use.
Shame on you for doing business this way! I will be contacting Apple headquarters to report you as a malicious business.

Misleading.. it does not take blood sugar!!!
Your ads clearly represented that I could test my blood sugar using the app itself. That was the specific reason I signed up and paid for the subscription. However, after completing the registration and attempting to use the feature, I discovered that the app does not actually allow me to test my blood sugar. It only provides an option to manually enter or log blood sugar results that were obtained elsewhere, such as from a laboratory or separate glucose-testing device.
This is misleading and not what was advertised to me when I subscribed. The feature that convinced me to purchase the subscription is not available in the way your advertisement led me to believe. Had this been clearly disclosed beforehand, I would not have purchased the subscription.
Therefore, I am requesting a full refund of the $39.99 subscription fee that I was charged.
I do not believe it is appropriate for me to pay for a service based on a feature that was advertised but is not actually provided as represented.
Please process my refund promptly and send me confirmation once the refund has been issued. Thanks

Blood sugar
It doesn’t measure blood sugar levels
Disappointed‼️
I found the advertisement for this app to be misleading and confusing. I did not understand blood glucose and pressure track track being the optimum word here. The title of the app was Health Scan heart and sugar and when I read below blood glucose and pressure track. I just thought that was gonna do that too. I was sorely disappointed. The only thing it does is check your pulse, which my I watch already does. I will be exceedingly more careful when checking apps and their advertisement again.

Beware
Not free. Free to download, yes, but not free to use, even the demo report has to be paid for. It’s a lie
