Channel 7 10 pm news
We have a terrible time getting our favorite news at 10 it goes dark, lots revolving circles and we can’t seem to get it. This just started last month and a half. Other channels are fine, it’s only the 10 news😖. We have Spark Light Internet service.
Death scrolling
The previous app use to allow you to split the news up by category. Local, regional, national, etc. Now it’s a death scroll through everything. Big step backwards.

Worth the App
I enjoy this news source even though I live in eastern Oregon with roots in St Maries. Timely and informative both locally and nationally. Not a bunch of hooey and the folks are clear and concise in their reporting and delivery. Kudos to the whole team! D. Ginther

I love the app, but absolutely HATE their news reporting. I’m so sick of reporters inserting THEIR opinions just tell me the news please! So the app is great!!

Update disappointment
Having used this news app for several years I have seen many changes. Most of the time good ones. But recent updates have removed dark mode (which is easier on my eyes) and added what seems to be a lot more advertisement block, garbage my mind has to filter out. The opening red pulsing box is also annoying to watch every time I open the app. News is moderate but only covers selective events it seems now days. Just overall disappointed with the direction this app is headed.

Ever since the update the app is not working properly, the weather does not load and the layout overall is t great
Font too small to read
I have to give this app a 1-star review for the stupidest reason. The font is so small I can’t read it. If there is a way to change it I can’t find it. Do the developers even look at it before they release an app to the public?
Doesn’t fill screen when iPad is held in landscape mode
A recent update changed how I have to set my iPad when viewing this app. I generally watch with the iPad on its side because that is how my iPad cover can prop up the iPad. Now when I turn it on its side, the app only fills the middle of the screen which is too small to watch videos or live stream. PLEASE fix the app to support landscape mode!

Search function
I loved using the KTVB app in the past, but with the latest update, there’s no longer a search function. Please bring back the search function! The category list no longer available either. I would like to choose between the types stories, but that is no longer available either.

Review of KTVB Online News Feed
I typically do not watch the news on TV as I prefer the online format. For the most part it works. However, many times the online source is repetitive, often days at a time. This may of course occur due to this online format. I especially enjoy the verify portion often discovering answers to issues I have crossed. Even though the online feed falls a little short in my opinion, it is typically the one I gravitate to. I enjoy the reporting and anchor staff at KTVB. They have been my number one source over the last 37 years.
