Don’t spend money here. Full stop.
I had the app for a few years, and even “bought books” to read.. get a physical copy from Amazon for the same price. You “buy” a book on here, just for them to decide that you no longer get to read it, but they keep your money. I will NEVER download a comic book app again. As for IDW, I’ll find the books for free on a torrent site. I tried being honest, but they burned me on their end. Lesson learned.

Where is this subscription?
I think it’s a pretty awesome app so far I believe that there should be a subscription button so we are able to come back to the app and support these comics similar to how these other apps like DC infinite and Marvel unlimited have older issues but still produce content on their app it would actually bring opportunity for IDW’s comics that have not been really looked at by other content consumers please add a subscription button to allow us to read. A lot of your comics people will come in droves for that.

Just got the tmnt collection on fanatical. If I had known the app was this bad I would have passed on the purchase.

Download functionality
Can you please improve the offline download functionality? If I hit download and decide to do ANYTHING else with my phone it decides to stop downloading the comic. Even if I want to hit back and look through my comic library? Making it near impossible to actually download a book. Genuinely the most horrid experience I've had with an app to date when one of its main features doesn't even work.

Where are the Transformers comics?
I got this SOLELY for Transformers comics and cant find them????
Won’t let me log in
It keeps telling me “invalid password” when I try to log into the app, even though using the same username and password on the website works. Please fix!!
Needs some work, but happy to have it
The app needs a little work. But it’s so nice to have these IDW comics. I don’t have a comic shop really close to me but this app, no matters it’s little quirks, allows me to read the TMNT and Godzilla I really want to read. Keep up the good work. I’m grateful for the app.
Fix your Junkie App
When I try to find a specific issue which I have bought, the comics I scroll threw are in a random order and I’m often scrolling threw tons of them. Even searching the issue number gets me nothing. Sort the issues into folders or at least allow the user to do so. Also there have been an annoying amount of crashes and occasions where the next page will try to load but it stops on a black screen and I have to exit the reader and re-enter only to find the problem wasn’t fixed. This is annoying and unacceptable. I pay good money for these comics. Fix it!

Forced to use
This app functions. But at such a basic level. It has next to zero features and chose the incredibly weird option of scrolling up or down to read a comic. There’s no panel reading options. If you accidentally tap the top or bottom of your phone or swipe a notification away you’ve lost your spot entirely. Exiting the reader doesn’t save your spot in the book. There’s no customization to the reading experience at all, you can’t wishlist or save books you want. It doesn’t group series together. There’s no real sort or filter function. So good luck trying to find similar titles in your library if you didn’t buy them in exact order. I’m just surprised that a company as big as IDW with so many IPs pushes this trash out when compared to other comic reading experiences.

Glorified PDF reader, but bad
2 seems about right. There is nothing great about how it handles comics. No panel following, anything. But super annoying, no ability to read in landscape mode. That is just bad. If I could just download and take the PDF elsewhere, that would be great.

Awful
This app in its current version (6.0.4) is awful. It crashes on the iPad immediately after opening any comic, making purchased comics unreadable and worthless. Waiting for an update that might make this usable.
Constant crshes
I finally logged in to this new app and can’t go more than a few seconds with it crashing. Not even time to scroll through the legacy IDW library I have/had.
Fix the app please
It crashes and slows me phone down, layout is terrible, most of the time when I search for a comic it doesn’t show up, crashes when I try to buy a comic, it’s overall unusable.

Terrible design. When you finish a book, you have to manually scroll back to the beginning one page at a time. Doing this causes the app to crash. Crashes anyway when casually reading.
It’s impossible to find a specific comic
Seriously I tried looking for TMNT comics that I had on the old TMNT comic app and can’t find them I liked that app better it was easier to find things there but here it’s impossible. It’s obvious you don’t care about this app if you did you’d do a better job maintaining it and it would have a low rating. Nearly no one knows this app even exists.
