What's New in iFast

14.0.0

August 13, 2026

A ground-up rebuild of iFast. New: a fasting timer with live metabolic zones, a personal AI coach, accountability circles, richer charts, two-way Apple Health sync, and hydration + meal logging with snap-a-photo calorie estimates. Faster, more reliable, and it now keeps working offline.

Not working out the blue

Just a blank screen, I’ve been using this app for some time now and as of yesterday- it’s just a blank screen. I un and reinstalled and restarted my phone- no improvement. There’s no update either.

Response from developer

Hi, sorry about this. It was on us, not your phone. A release was mid-flight and left the app blank for some people, so reinstalling and restarting were never going to help. It's fixed in the version that's now live. Worth updating for more than the fix, though, especially if you've been with us a while. 14.0 is a full rebuild: Ember, an AI coach that answers using your own last 30 days of data, photo calorie tracking that reads macros straight off a picture of your plate, private accountability circles, and charts that finally show your fasting consistency properly. Your history and streak are untouched. If anything is still off after you update, tap Settings, then About, then Contact support, and I'll sort it personally.

Love this app

Helpful advice for anyone

Love how simple it is

I appreciate the fact that I can start a fast and edit the start time to when I actually started fasting. Sometimes it’s pretty random when I decide to, and by then I’m already 8-16+ hours in. Very convenient unlike other apps.

Simple and effective

Does everything I need without the fluff. No paywalls or restrictions. Thank you for your service and support.

Looks great lots of aspects to it, easy

I’ve downloaded about four and they tend to ask for $50 a year. I found a couple of free ones and this one is wonderful. It seems to be easy to use and it has a lot of aspects. I’m really impressed.
But I just downloaded it New Year’s 2025. I’m definitely gonna start working with it and if anything substantially changes I’ll be back.
I’m not sure how to tell it that I ended my fast early.
