July 8, 2026
IFC Clash Detector V2.1 is a major engine, coordination, workflow and AI update. What’s new: • New That Open-based IFC viewing and clash workflow. • Shared-basis coordinate alignment for federated IFC models, improving alignment of coordinated ARCH and STRUCTURAL files. • New Loaded Models panel with visibility controls to help inspect and verify model alignment. • Classic engine remains available in Settings as a fallback. • Improved clash workflow with clearer model loading, ruleset selection, progress, review and export steps. • New ruleset options including Navisworks-style, Solibri-style and user-defined rule workflows. • Improved long-running clash progress with clearer stages and elapsed time. • BCF and PDF export improvements, including stronger snapshot handling. • New local, evidence-led AI assistance for model summaries, clash summaries, selected clash explanations and draft BCF issue text. • Improved delete/re-import handling to reduce stale clash, review, export and AI state. • Improved native macOS support, including a deterministic model-order stabilizer for sensitive IFC pairs. • Updated IFC Viewer-family visual styling and cleaner iPhone, iPad and macOS layouts. • No standalone in-app purchase or paywall — all Clash Detector features are available in the app. • General stability, import, cache and runtime improvements.
