Thanks for the feedback — AR support is a great suggestion and we agree it could be extremely useful for on-site BIM workflows. A major new IFC Viewer update is coming soon with a completely redesigned workspace, improved model review and a much broader professional Pro Tools toolkit. We’re also looking at AR for a future update, including ways to accurately position IFC models within real-world spaces rather than simply overlaying geometry on the camera view. Thanks for taking the time to suggest it — it’s now firmly on our roadmap.

Brilliant little IFC app for Mac
I needed a straightforward way of opening and reviewing IFC files on my Mac without having to fire up much heavier software every time. For £2.99 this does the job extremely well. Models load quickly, moving around them is smooth, and it's easy to get to the information you actually need.
After using it for a while I decided to buy the Unlock All option. That was definitely the right choice for me, as the extra tools make the app much more useful for proper model checking and day-to-day BIM work. I also preferred getting everything in one purchase rather than picking features individually.
One of the biggest positives is how accessible it is. You don't need to spend ages learning the interface before you can start inspecting a model, checking properties, taking measurements or digging into the IFC data.
For anyone regularly receiving IFC models, especially those working in construction, architecture or engineering, it's a very handy app to have installed.
Excellent value for the initial £2.99, and the full unlock makes it even better.
