IFC Model Compare

IFC Model Compare helps BIM, construction, architecture and engineering professionals understand what changed between two IFC model revisions. Import an original IFC as Model A and a revised IFC as Model B. The app performs a deterministic comparison and organises model objects into added, removed, changed and unchanged results. REVIEW MODEL CHANGES Review a clear summary of differences between the baseline and revised IFC files. Results include: • Added objects • Removed objects • Changed objects • Unchanged objects • Match confidence information • Unmatched object information SIDE-BY-SIDE 3D VIEWING Inspect Model A and Model B in separate 3D viewers. The app uses its modern That Open viewer by default, with the Classic viewer retained as a fallback for models that cannot be prepared by the primary viewer. Use the 3D view to: • Orbit, pan and zoom • Fit the model to the viewport • Inspect Model A and Model B independently • Select model objects • Review object identity and properties • Capture model snapshots EXPLORE IFC DATA Browse structured model information including: • IFC object types • Entity indexes • Property tables • Object names and identifiers • Model A and Model B data EXPORT COMPARISON REPORTS Export comparison results in multiple formats: • CSV • JSON • Markdown • PDF Reports are created locally and can be saved or shared using the standard system interfaces. LOCAL-FIRST PROCESSING IFC files are processed locally on your device and are not uploaded by IFC Model Compare. The embedded viewer uses runtime resources packaged inside the app. The app does not use a remote IFC conversion or model-processing service. SUPPORTED FORMAT • IFC STEP files using the .ifc extension IFCZIP and IFCXML files are not currently supported.
