Job application Feedback

Application is smooth and very nice interms of suitable job openings. I loved it but after applying jobs there is no current status update on job application.

Best hiring platform for premium jobs

Absolute waste of money and time

I have been wasting money and time on this application. I recommend people to look for jobs on Naukri or Indeed they work 1000 times better than this application. I haven’t received a single call from the jobs I applied through this application.

Frauds

I upgraded my membership by paying the amount, but shortly after, I received a message stating that my transaction hadn't gone through. I searched for the customer care number to no avail. Finally, I reached out to the feedback section for a refund, but I haven't received any response for over a week. I have to conclude that this app is fraudulent, and I advise against spending money on it.

Spamming every single day

I downloaded the app when I wanted a job. Now after months when I have a job, I’m still receiving n no of emails every single day and the worst part is they don’t have any chat support neither the unsubscribe button works so I’m not able to get out of their emails.

Worst for finding jobs

Almost all of the jobs are duplicated jobs (spammed) by one single consulting firm. 90% of data science jobs has been spammed all over by team of Huquo consulting on iim jobs. Kindly get in touch with their team so that they do not ruin your job portal by spamming one job role with different names. Worst app for finding jobs even after paying subscription fee.

APP DOWN FOR OVER A WEEK-NO ACTION

IIMJobs was a good platform. Ever since being bought over by Naukri, the tech and product has stagnated and only deteriorated over time. The present app version IOS has been down for nearly 10 days now, and no updates, notices, info, solution has been worked out by responsible team. A good business idea being slowly put to death.

Access to Premium jobs

The best part is that you can get the response of all the job applied and can chat with the recruiters.

Worse part is that the same job posting will come to your mail even if you’ve taken the decision on it.

Really helpful!

I like the fact that it is better than many other popular job sites, since the applications do get responses and also the application process Is quite easy and simple!
Would be great if an applicant can track the application status without prime….

One of the best job app

I feel this is the most underrated app for job search. I am all thankful to IIMjobs as all my last three jobs was from this app.

I also recommend everyone to get a pro paid version for better reach.

Review - Product Layout

The app is not at all easy to use and search for the required job. Most of the Jobs do not have the company name mentioned at the front page. To create personalized job feeds, it is so hard to find the required profile and there is no option to type in what you need. It would be helpful if you could improve the your product layout.

Filtering in “Status of application”

Is there a functionality through which a filter can be applied in the application status to filter out “not suitable” and keep only the viewed, saved, downloaded and short listed applications? It will be easier to prioritise the applications and to reach out to the recruiters.

Poor App

Though they have tried hard to reinvent the app and push for video resumes the problems remain the same and changes are only cosmetic. App has a poor subscription integration with the apple pay. They did not refund my payment and neither did they bother to enable my subscription after successful payment citing an error on their gateway. Makes you think of how being digital is imperfect or is it just iimjobs?

Issue with uploading pdf version of resume

The latest app version keeps giving error while uploading pdf documents under CV section even though it says the format is supported

Works really well for mid-senior aspirants

One stop solution for the best jobs. The jobfeed I get is really relevant and the app has an intuitive interface. Would recommend to everyone looking for mid-senior level roles.

Nothing in the app works

You cannot apply to jobs, cannot update your profile, cannot upload your resume and the list goes on. Most importantly you cannot even submit the feedback inside the app. The loading rings just goes on swirling. Why publish an app which doesn’t work the way it has to?

30 second audio video resume is a joke

IIM Jobs team is making fun of all the candidates who are part of the database.
I am involved in hiring process and let me aware you, no one spends 6 seconds. The ones who do it are not the brand in the industry. Secondly for those who have 5,10,15 years of experience it is impossible to sum up career exposure in 30 seconds.

When you get on a call to speak to the client and hiring manager it takes about 2-5 minutes to help understand strength and key skills. I don’t know who informed the team that is takes 30 second.

Make changes that are practical in nature.
Also add resume builder option atleast for people who are paying you heavy duty.
