I just got a notice of an unpaid toll by email but when I go into pay by plate, it says zero balance

Why do I keep getting text messages & emails that I have no payment method for outstanding tolls. I paid my tolls & have a zero balance. Seems like you just want my credit card info.
App doesn’t work
Been trying for days to Pay by Plate for a rental car. Website doesn’t work at all. So I downloaded the app and it won’t let you select a vehicle type and won’t let you proceed without selecting one. You’d think for a state that has so many budget issues they’d at least figure out how to collect revenue.

The app won't open and website is down since yesterday. It's the weekend and call center not open either.

Trying to log out on the website, they can validate my username and password.
So I downloaded the app and I could login, but the app doesn't allow me to select the field vehicle type which is required.

Worst app imaginable
Finally was able to get logged in after an hour. Then was unable to add a car to the system. Now I’m supposed to trust them with my cc info. Roads where nice, only if the technology was as nice. Tear it down and rebuild the app.

This is ridiculous.
The Illinois Tollway payment system has consistently been frustrating to use. Nearly every time I try to pay my tolls online, the website either freezes or continuously buffers, forcing me to call customer service to complete a payment. An online payment portal should make the process easier, not require customers to resort to phone calls.
I also question the accuracy of the overwhelmingly positive reviews, as my experience has been consistently poor. On top of the unreliable payment system, traffic on the Illinois Tollway is often excessive, turning what should be a one-hour drive into several hours. To make matters worse, when I do reach customer service, the interactions are frequently unhelpful and come across as dismissive or unfriendly.
Overall, the payment process, customer service, and driving experience all need significant improvement. A modern toll system should be reliable, efficient, and easy for drivers to use, but that has not been my experience.

Doesn’t work!
I’ve been trying to “Pay by Plate” for the last two days but the app and website will not accept my information.
