Doesn't display cover images properly offline

None of the cover images display properly if you start the app up offline. This makes it very hard to browse your issue collection because every cover is blank.

Why aren' t the cover images downloaded or generated and cached when you download the issue?

This company took 39.99 from me and gave me nothing in return

The magazine is great, but don’t get it from these people. I paid the 39.99 unlock all back issues and it did not work but it did take my money. Contacted them they said they couldn’t help talk to Apple. Apple says talk to them and refused my refund. I’ve emailed this company many times and have rcieced horrible support on this issue. One person said they would look into it but did not hear back, inquired back about it and the whole default response of contact April came back. Bottom line I paid 39.99 got absolutely nothing , can easily prove it, but they refuse to give me what I paid for. There are other ways to get this magazine other than this app that refuses to help. I reported a fraud case on them with Apple but Apple doesn’t want to help anyone either. They will never get another dollar from me.

junk app tossed at us by malicious apes 🦍🦧🚽

It has been broken for YEARS. Simply DOES NOT WORK for large libraries. Has the gall to try to dump you into a rubbish storefront before it crashes. The only conceivable explanation is that the cretinous charlatans at future publishing despise their own magazines and their readers. Very reproducible hang/crash: complete collection, download every issue, and then close and restart the app, ideally while other apps are running. Likely an inefficient loading algorithm and poor handling of low memory/out of memory conditions. Hangs for minutes or crashes. Also doesn’t work properly offline - loads idiotic storefront with lorem ipsum text, no issue covers displayed in library, etc.
