Great idea, poor execution (user has to do all the work)
I was aware of the apps limited selection of models however you would think that over time they would increase said selection, I would understand if the app was free, but they are charging £3 meaning they should be providing a quite a bit more than they already do, and if you have to upload your own pictures, they could at least have somewhere where they have photos of models that they have taken themselves to perfectly fit their own criteria and that anyone with the app can access.

It’s a useful app, very annoying the in-app store doesn’t work for me. If you go on Reddit and look up the app then you should be good for SVGs to use. The colors the app has are very good and I’m happy with it overall.

A few models are available, the app is laggy and you can’t event import a SVG without doing some custom work. It’s not good at all

Pretty Useful, if Fiddly
Could we get a way to permanently toggle-off auto mode? I keep accidentally changing the whole scheme when I only wanted to change one layer.

Begging for a landscape mode, otherwise it’s an alright app, definitely needs more support overall though

Marines ,tyranids and to be honest the most wanted are not in the default app. You have to buy this stuff for 50+ dollars/€ in this guys store in packs with 3 minis.

Iffy for warhammer
If you want to use this for warhammer minis I would be cautious. There is a subreddit you can look at to find a list of models they have for you to work with (which requires an entirely separate download and import) but the list is not all encompassing and is missing allot of models. In some cases there are fan made or proxy models that are so far off base that it’s useless if you wanted to see how your model would look. ( I’m looking at you, weird spider leg tyrant guard). If you can find your models in the mega link from the sub Reddit and go through the process of importing it then yea the app works pretty well but otherwise you more than likely aren’t getting a SVG and you just wasted 3$

Where is the Space Marine?
I bought this to paint space marines and there aren't any in it.
Very Good App
This app does exactly what you’ll want it to do. Community support online is great with lots of third party content for models and paint ranges, and all straightforward enough to use.
Decent but limited
No easy way to import GW models or paints. No tyranids or alternative models available
No updates in 2 years
The app is abandoned, the file browser is annoying af for an app that isn't free to use. Fix that, it's about time and people have paid for it. I don't want rip off minis to get shoved into my face whenever I open the app.
Feels like a Beta that could improve
Not really user friendly, and could really use a UI design team to fix this. Having a wider database of models would help as well. I’m a warhammer painter and there’s just too many hoops to jump through to put time into this for now. Maybe when it gets some updates I’ll revisit the app. Cool idea, so I hope this all works out in the end.

Really Poor Product
Comes with a tiny selection of models and no instructions on adding more. If an app doesn't work by itself, its not a finished product. Should not be on the app store yet. Don't spend your money.
Amazing Tool!
Been using Impcats for a little over a year now, it’s helped me figure out paint schemes, layering and more. The subreddit, r/Impcat, is also a helpful community with a library of svg files.
Avoid
Very buggy. Has very few models built in. Importing models in iOS is not functional.
Really cool
Great features, model variety is sadly a bit low but it’s really nice for messing around with new color schemes, don’t go in expecting for the exact model you want to paint to be there
