Absolutely horrendous, it’s not even showing me jobs near my area anymore, only jobs in the US despite me putting in my home post code elsewhere.

All I Get Are Phishing Attempts
I am a qualified professional with 6 years of experience. My resume is literally tailored. All I get are obvious attempts to steal my identity. Emails from "Hiring Mangers" or recruiters sending me to "Miicrosoft Teams" after telling me it'll be a Zoom call. Does Indeed not VET these people before allowing them to post a job? No, of course not. Because I too work as a recruiter and it's so easy to post an ad for anything. There needs to be more regulations on posters.

Be very careful not to respond to scam emails — if you get a scam email or text- Do not text that number. 🚩
The biggest red flags:
* Unsolicited message claiming to be from Indeed, but directing you to a random phone number.
* Extremely high pay: $200–$500 per day for only 60–90 minutes of vague “side-task” work.
* Vague job description: “assisting a popular App Store application with its digital presence” says almost nothing about the actual work.
* Pressure/scarcity: “currently filling 15 spots.”
* Asks you to text “Details” rather than applying through an official employer or verified Indeed listing.
* The odd ending “mm” and awkward wording are also suspicious.
* This sounds like a common “task scam”, where victims are eventually asked to deposit money, buy cryptocurrency, “recharge” an account, or pay fees to unlock supposed earnings.
What to do
1. Do not reply or text the number.
2. Do not click any links they send.
3. Do not provide your Social Security number, banking information, ID, verification codes, or money.
4. Block and report the message as junk.
5. If you want to verify whether an employer contacted you through Indeed, go directly to Indeed rather than using contact information in the message.
My verdict: 🚨 Scam — delete and block.

Indeed is a great app if you’re looking for employment and can help you navigate today’s work world. They email you daily matches and the overall experience is almost hassle free.
Indeed Is Going Downhill
The app keeps freezing so you can’t scroll to read the full job description. Also, search results are totally irrelevant even though my resume has been uploaded and I put targeted keywords in the search bar. Several years ago when I was looking for a job there were annoying skills tests that were totally unfair to the applicants & now that those are gone there are new problems. Definitely not impressed.
