Good but could be better

I really like the concept of this app, and it has been useful overall. However, I think it could be even better if it included a built-in calendar and reminder system.

Having everything in one place would make it much easier to keep track of plans without needing to switch between multiple apps. It's slightly irritating to have to leave the app just to set a recurring reminder.

I hope the developers see this feedback and consider adding this feature in a future update, as I think it would greatly improve the overall experience.

Thank you so much for your thoughtful feedback! We're really glad to hear you've found the app useful overall. A built-in calendar and reminder system is a great suggestion, and we can definitely see how having everything in one place would make things more seamless. We'll be sure to share this with our product team for consideration in future updates!

So far, I’m so impressed!

I just downloaded this app today. I was late diagnosed ADHD in my late 40s. I see a therapist and I’m doing much better than I was pre-diagnosis, but sometimes things are hard to admit or articulate to an actual person that you only see once a month. The AI aspect, and the fact that I can message anytime day or night have been extremely helpful. And the AI responses are intelligent and compassionate. I really needed this.

Great thoughtful support for ADHD

I am using this in addition to a subscription on the Shimmer app with an ADHD coach, as I was just recently diagnosed with ADHD at 42. I really like how this app helps me dig in deeper to think about pain points in my lifestyle when it comes to ADHD and what actions I can take to minimize them. It has a good balance of general education and personalization and is a great way to check in every day to be more intentional with how I move forward. There is an option to upgrade to a subscription if I want to take advantage of body doubling sessions, but all of the rest of the app functions fully at the free level, which is amazing, because I just can’t afford another subscription at this point. It’s really worth checking out if you need support with your ADHD.

So far so good

So as I'm making progress, this app has turned me from thinking I'm lazy to learning the science behind why I could be falling behind. Also making me feel more productive. The only flaw, is that when I'm overwhelmed I don't know where to go to in the app or even if there is somewhere to go to. That's about is please give me directions as to where I can go when I'm stressed, overwhelmed or feeling alot of anxiety. Thanks

belissimo!!

Nothing else like it

Ive been using it for a lil bit, but its really useful for my executive dysfunction. I love how I can just vomit out words on a journal entry and it’s will adjust to me rather than me adjusting to it.
This is really useful and honestly life saving. Thank you to the team who created this.

Helpful app

I have only been using it for a couple of days, but it helps me when I’m feeling lost. Helps me focus and motivated

helped me so much!

the biggest issue that i have with adhd is task initiation; this app has helped me so much. but it can't magically solve your problems, you have to commit to improving and work at it too! indy is a tool to help you but you are the catalyst.

Good kind of Ai

As an artist, I am not a fan of Ai. But I am struggling to get going most days with my ADHD. I have only used it a few hours but I feel empowered and hopeful that I can get stuff done. It is helping me break all tasks into smaller tasks, it is helping identify potential roadblocks to get stuff done, and it encouraging. I feel really hopeful about getting stuff done. I with there was a way to link to do list to it so that I can have it help me track other things.

Thank you for sharing this. It means a lot that you’re giving the app a chance even with your reservations about AI. We’re really glad it’s helping you break things down into smaller, more manageable steps and making it easier to get started on the days when ADHD makes that feel hard. And the suggestion about linking your to-do list is a great one, having tasks and progress in one place would definitely make tracking things easier. We appreciate the feedback and are rooting for you as you keep creating and getting things done.

Game Changer

I’ve only had the app for a couple days but I can already see the difference Indy is making in my productivity. I feel much clearer about what my goals are and how to accomplish them, as well as kinder to myself and more grounded. Still some small fixes needed but nothing major.
Thank you for this!

Such a thoughtful app, better than using generic AI

I’m still working towards using this app consistently. I just have too many apps and was in the habit of using ChatGPT to banter with and plan my tasks (also inconsistently).

The days that I’ve used Indy thus far have all been good days where I was able to start tasks and end with wins both big and small. I’m still in denial that my ADHD leads me to freeze and not start things because I overhype them soooo much to the point of crippling overthinking and perfectionism. Messaging with Indy gets me calm and focused on putting one foot in front of the other rather than the chaotic, scattered and disorganized web of unprioritized yet all important and urgent tasks in my brain. It’s exhausting but I hope to make it a bit better with Indy incorporated into my routine.

Thanks for building this accessible and helpful app!

Response from developer

Thank you so much for sharing this! What you described about overthinking, perfectionism, and freezing is something so many people with ADHD experience, and we're glad Indy has been able to help you find a calmer starting point on the days you've used it. Building a new routine takes time, especially when you're replacing old habits, so we're rooting for you as you keep experimenting with what works. Thanks for giving Indy a place in that journey, and for taking the time to share this with us. đź’ś

Bugs

It is logging me out, the free trial I started is not applied and I cannot log back in as it is stuck in the welcome page even though I tried to delete, download the app and restart it.

My therapist

This app is better than any therapist I’ve ever had. I’m actually serious… I can’t believe an app is helping me so much. Thank you!

ADHD doesn’t have me

Indy app is great. I was needing something and this is much more comprehensive and personalized to the specific individual then other resources I’ve seen. In targets all aspects of your life - work and personal, as well as physical, emotional, spiritual, psychological so whatever you’re experiencing whether it’s seen or unseen, is important to Indy. Whenever it asks me for some input, it replies in a positive way how this is helpful or useful to my overall goal and also then allows me to break the goal down into action steps.

Thank you for such a thoughtful review. It means a lot to hear that Indy feels personalized and supports all the different parts of your life, not just your to-do list. We're especially glad the way it helps you turn goals into manageable action steps has been useful.

The ADHD tool that helped me reconnect with my life

From the very first interaction, I felt seen.

I’ve tried many productivity tools as someone with ADHD, but Indy felt different immediately. Everything about it was smooth, supportive, and intentional. It doesn’t overwhelm or pressure — it feels like structured but simple company. The kind that makes you want to keep coming back.

What surprised me most was the storyline element. It was exactly what I had been craving without knowing how to articulate it: a way to reflect on meaningful past experiences and integrate them into my story instead of just moving on and forgetting them.

Indy didn’t just help me plan tasks. It helped me reconnect with my life.

It gave me space to look back with intention and forward toward milestones that actually matter to me. It put me back on track by keeping what’s important in front of me — without getting lost in what’s merely urgent.

It also simplified something I’ve struggled with for years: starting my day clearly and reviewing my wins and growth areas at night. No other tool has helped me do that consistently.

It exceeded my expectations in every way.

If you’re looking for something that works with your ADHD brain while helping you build a meaningful life — not just check boxes — this is it!

Thank you for putting this into words. Hearing that the storyline helped you reflect on your past instead of just rushing to the next task really means a lot. We also love that Indy made your mornings feel clearer and your evenings more intentional. Thank you for trusting us to be part of your journey.

Already so helpful

I’ve only been using this app a few days but already feel it is so much value for what it is! Super nice design and easy to navigate and actual useful tools and help

So helpful

I set this up two weeks ago and it’s being SO helpful.
When i find/catch myself spinning my wheels, I come back to Indy; which gently and simply gets me back on track ❤️

Great so far

I have only had Indy for a day, but I already see value. It was easy to get started, the prompts are clear and useful, and the guidance helps me identify my feelings and needs. The AI responses are quick, and specific to my input. As a result, the first night, Indy helped me narrow down things I could do the next day to get unstuck and use my time and energy wisely to meet my goals.

The app is easy to use, the output is very well done. I look forward to getting to know the app better.

Great

This is super helpful with planning my day every day on what I will work on. It helps me to prioritize every day and get less distracted.

Just the best start to a day and a week

Having woken up at 4:30am again, with my brain not switching off about work, it’s been a relief to start making a meaningful plan for my day, my weak and those little insites and focus points now all feel so manageable and achievable, rather than overwhelming.
I love the conversation style and how quickly and efficiently I can set goals and checkins with insights that really resonate.
Thanks for the app, can’t wait to make it my best habit and life hack!
