I think the latest update broke the subscription feature. I’m subscribed but I keep getting an error to upgrade from basic to create Flownotes.
Using it for school
I am a kinesthetic learning and being able to take notes while doing other things has created allowed my study time to be a lot more flexible. I now go to class feeling a lot more confident.
Revolutionary
This app is leading edge in that you can take notes and keep organized all highlights through audio learning. It will soon take its place at the forefront of learning technology for people on the go or those who need to maximize their time and efficiency in information processing.
Great text to voice app!
App is ideal for those who want to get text translated to voice. I use it for commutes and it helps me digest text content in a usable manner. Cadence and voice from the app is easy to listen to.
Can’t adjust length of clip
Either it’s not adjustable or I wasn’t able to figure it out. Either way, I can’t use this since it takes such a short clip.
Love it
I love this app! It has made grad school much easier when it comes to note taking on podcasts. I’m still learning the ropes on how to use it and will update review as I go, but as of now it’s been a lifesaver.
App id crashing on startup
After last update, the app doesn’t open anymore, and I don’t want to give this app a low rating because I actually like it
Great app. But a few glitches.
I love this app. I am studying for boards and it really helps me flag sections of notes on the go. But it does take forever to load the podcasts, at least for me. And sometimes when I go to restart the podcast it starts from the beginning, not where I left off. However the benefits far outweigh the glitches.

Awesome podcast innovation!
I downloaded NoteCast because I love to listen to podcasts. The ability to select parts of long podcasts (3+ hours) and go back to freshen up on what I listened to is something I have been trying to find for years, and this does the trick. I also love the ability to sort by tag for enhanced organization. Great product with amazing potential!!!

i’ve found this app to be extremely beneficial and time efficient, especially as a student. it is very user friendly and it’s nice to have so many different platforms all on one app. i’d definitely recommend to any working professional or student.
Great Idea, Poor Execution
Love the idea of being able to press a button and save those really important moments. However, I paid for a monthly subscription and when I press the notes button it just comes up with a “Notice! No notes to show” error message... have tried this multiple times/ have restarted the app/ logged out and this feature still won’t work. Very disappointing as the app has so much promise.

Great Note Taking for Podcasts
NoteCast is a great way to create tags that allow you to bookmark the podcast, which is perfect as it makes it exponentially easier to find where a particular concept is in a specific podcast. I also love how it transcribes what the podcast says around the moment you tagged.
I have a few issues on the phone app; there’s no area to type in additional comments, you cannot edit the transcription or even the tag names (which is frustrating if you make a typo or if you come to a better encompassing word for the tag) and the app crashes every time I try to filter by tags.
It’s a brilliant app and I hope the developers work on these issues, especially since it is a paid subscription app.

Very useful but very slow
It’s a brilliant concept but it takes a very long time to load anything. I will continue to use because saving insight is invaluable. Hopefully there will be an update to resolve the slow loading screens.
No Bluetooth connectivity
+++ this app would be awesome if it connected to my Bluetooth in my car no update since 3-weeks ago after being told those issues would be resolved ++++
*** Update *** the updated version does run better and the skipping seems to have been eliminated. The app hasn’t closed on me on its own since the new version, THANK YOU!
However, it will not connect to my Car’s Bluetooth making it very difficult to justify this app as a purchase in the future. Thanks for the improvements thus far....
I downloaded this app 3-days ago on a recommendation from the Optimum Finance Daily Podcast. I originally loved the thought of note taking option but the app continually closes on its own, or stops playing podcasts on its own. The app skips portions of the podcasts automatically and whenever I use the note taking prompt, the podcast begins to stop/start like a scratched CD. Unfortunately, I would not suggest purchasing in the future until bugs are fixed.

I love this app!
I mostly listen to podcasts for educational learning purposes. This app is changing the way I listen and learn from podcasts. Never again will I lose the important notes or ‘aha’ moments. Digital notes are so easy to access and playback.
Love this app
This app is super intuitive and makes it easy for me to find the podcast I’m in the middle of. The categories section is great for finding new podcasts. Also love that I can download episodes and make notes to myself about things I want to remember. Love it! New default podcast app.

I drive around all day to accounts and this is a Dream app!! All of my notes from wine podcasts are organized! I especially like that I can skip back 30 seconds easily to re-listen to important information.
New update rocks!
The new Bluetooth capability has improved this already awesome app. This makes podcast listening some much more productive!
Great app with great potential
Great idea for note taking on a podcast. In general this app has the potential of being great. There are however a few glitches that need to be resolved. What I have noticed is that when you leave the app and toggle over to the web and come back to continue the podcast it sometimes won’t play & gets stuck. If you stay on the podcast till the end, playing, pausing, note taking either by voice command or the Note button doesn’t seem to be an issue. It’s nice to see at a glance ones “note taking” and also the benefit of viewing, organizing, editing & printing it from a laptop or home computer. The times when the app works correctly which I would say is about 95% and up, note taking by voice command or the note button is really cool, easy, and convenient. Icons are the perfect size for visibility and touchscreen functions. Right now this app stands close to a 4 1/2 star, but once the glitches are corrected it will undoubtably be a 5 star product. Looking forward to a glitchless Ex-Iq NoteCast.
