What's New in ScrollToll

4.6

August 26, 2026

Your notes just got more room. • DROP IN A WHOLE TEXTBOOK — pick a big PDF and choose exactly which part to use. Tap any page to read it full-size before you decide. • PASTE AS MUCH AS YOU WANT — up to ~125 pages at once. We'll find the most testable parts and build your pack from those. • KNOW WHAT'S IN YOUR PACK — a live page meter while you paste, and a receipt showing exactly which pages your pack was built from. • NO MORE MYSTERY WAITS — while your questions are written, you'll see what's happening step by step. If your upload can't become questions, we tell you why and let you try different material. • PACKS FINISH THEMSELVES — if you finish setup before we finish writing, the rest of your questions now arrive on their own. • PACK CLEARED — a little celebration when you've seen every card in a pack, and a one-tap way to build your next one. • START FRESH — swipe any pack to reset its progress. • NIGHT-FRIENDLY — a new Appearance setting lets the answer and upload sheets go dark with your phone.

honestly changed my life

i am an avid doomscroller and also a pre-PA student with adhd. this app genuinely has been the best decision ive made this year. it feels so rewarding to get an MCAT question right (even tho im personally not going to take the MCAT) and reduce my instagram usage at the same time. i highly recommend for students or anyone wishing to decrease their time on social media. i love the pause option for nights im not doing work or during my lunch break! please never get rid of the free version. if i had more money id pay for the pro version because thats how much this app genuinely benefits me.

it will change your life! do it!

Helpful & effective!

I began using this app yesterday, to block a social media platform i have a serious screentime issue with. While getting set up was a little intimidating, once you get started, it’s really helpful! It helps me keep track of my doomscrolling habit, and it’s a really nice way to review content and concepts. Great app

Great until it wasn’t

For a few days, this app was everything I’d hoped it’d be. But turns out that that’s just the free trial of the paid version, of which the app is basically useless without. I’d be interested in trying it again if this got resolved, but until then I can’t recommend it.

A big fan of this work in progress

I love this app! The developer is clearly working very hard on this and I use it a lot. That being said, the multiple choice can present some challenges on here for me in terms of memorizing the beginning of the answer/question and it would be really cool to see some short answer or jeopardy style questions to facilitate some deeper learning (maybe thats just me though 😂) Theres a good range of topics that already have questions decks and you can import your own too! I was a little bummed that I no longer saw NCLEX questions but otherwise fantastic so far. I pay for premium and feel its worth the (quite low) cost :)

Helping the doomscrolling

So happy I found this. It is really just what you need to help you stop doomscrolling and actually think about your goals and get back to studying.

FAQ

How does ScrollToll work to help me study?

ScrollToll locks distracting apps behind a single question each time you try to open them. Answering correctly grants you access, while incorrect answers mean the question will reappear later. This method uses distributed recall science to reinforce learning passively throughout your day.

Does ScrollToll have ads?

No, ScrollToll does not contain advertisements. The app is free to download and use, with optional in-app purchases for advanced features and packs.

What kind of questions does ScrollToll use?

ScrollToll offers various question packs including MCAT, USMLE, mental math problems, chess tactics, and vocabulary cards. You can also create custom packs for any topic you wish to learn.

Can I customize which apps ScrollToll blocks?

Yes, you can pick the specific apps that you find most distracting. ScrollToll will then lock these chosen apps behind a knowledge check question, ensuring you earn your access.

How often do I have to answer questions with ScrollToll?

The frequency depends on your mastery of the material. Cards you struggle with will surface more often, while mastered cards appear less frequently. Each unlock session is a study moment, distributed across your day.

What are the subscription options for ScrollToll?

ScrollToll offers several subscription plans, including Weekly Pro Access for $2.49 or $4.99, and Monthly Pro Access for $6.99. There are also Student Monthly ($3.49) and Student Yearly ($24.99) plans, with the yearly option including a 3-day free trial.

Is ScrollToll available on Android devices?
