Was expecting to replace OneDrive….definitely not happening with that garbage

First, it asks for a phone number, bad start but whatever. It called some bs number for validation and nothing happened. Had to try several times to eventually succeed….Then came the best part, the login and password setup. No problem, I use mSecure to generate and manage my passwords…turns out that garbage kdrive website decided to use another random password instead. Impossible to reset it, I never receive the text for reset, impossible to add a backup «real email» either.
And of course, impossible to delete the account….
I am not saving any data on such unreliable poor data center, nope. Don’t get fooled people, there’s no such thing of « cheap service and we are the good people not the NSA blabla bs »
I’ll stick with Microsoft longer I guess 🤷🏻‍♂️

Coffre-fort

J’ai tout basculé sur le cloud d’Infomaniak et je ne regrette pas. Je vais en faire mon cloud principal. J’ai également basculé toute ma messagerie. Je ne ferai pas machine arrière. Pour mon utilisation, il manque juste deux fonctions : le coffre-fort pour les documents hautement personnels ; la possibilité de classer les photos dans des albums (le top serait d’ajouter une couche dossier en plus pour un classement plus efficace, à instar d’Apple).

Dommage, toujours pas possible de créer des albums photos à l’instar de Google photo, et toujours pas de coffre fort. Dommage, car parfait par ailleurs. Ou alors une vraie application photo avec possibilité dossier verrouillé ?

Bien mais perfectible

Je mets quatre étoiles et non cinq, car il manque selon moi deux fonctions essentielles. La première est de pouvoir choisir quels dossiers doivent apparaître dans la galerie, plutôt que d’afficher obligatoirement toutes les images. La seconde est de pouvoir choisir le format d’importation des photos et des vidéos.

Une solution simple et efficace

Je cherchais une solution européenne pour sortir des griffes américaines de Google. Un ami suisse m’a conseillé Infomaniak. J’en suis enchanté. Je dispose de tous les outils dont j’ai besoin pour stocker et gérer mes données personnelles en toute sécurité. Je recommande cette solution à tous ceux qui pensent que la souveraineté sur nos outils numériques est fondamentale !
