Won’t let me pay
I tried to use the app to pay my bill, and it won’t let me pay.
SCAM
This app is a scam. We first made reservations to RosaNegra Miami under the Miami spice menu. Just so they can tell us it doesn’t apply for Saturdays. Then the manager tells us we’ll take care of you so we figure ok he honor the price since we already coordinated a birthday dinner. No they only gave us 1 round of drinks free. The we were like ok since this app says $50 off the $150 spent we’ll splurge a little bit. NO WAYYYYY we paid more and the app only credit us 20 bucks. And we can’t cash it out. TOTAL SCAMMMMMM. THE RESTAURANT AND THE APP.

Useless
Restaurant offered a $30 Credit on this app, but the waitress said they don’t take it. Just an app to mine your data. Stay away!

InKind offered $10 off at TAP. I downloaded the app, paid with the app and guess what? Didn’t get my $10 off, and the cashier at TAP had no idea of what I was talking about when I told him about this app and the discount.

Difficult to use
The restaurateurs have not fully taught their staff how to utilize this app to allow the patrons to order and pay with this application. Which makes it difficult to use at times. When you are on a date and paying with the application, it makes (me) look like a dummy.
Scam
I tried several times to get this app to work, and it just keeps asking for more personal information. I drew a line when it wanted my credit card information.
Take heed. Shady business tactics!
This company only wants numbers to tote to restaurants. They do not care about the actual users. I was denied my referral credit after signing up on the recommendation of a friend. When I reported this I was told there is nothing they can do. Please don’t let yourself be duped.

Didn’t work, declined all my credit cards
My second time using it after I had 20 dollars of credit, all my cards and Apple Pay were declined when they were working for everything else. They have some issues with merchant processing which leaves a sour taste in my mouth

I’ve had the app for two years and am pleased to see how they constantly keep adding real good places! So worth it.
A year in: great service
Been using Inkind for about a year and have been pleasantly surprised. The app itself is flawless, but the business as a whole is something we support and the discounts are legitimate. We wait until Black Friday and get a 40-50% discount on credits, and then use them slowly throughout the year. Works well

Bait and switch
Promoted on restaurant’s order online page as a discount for providing an email and receiving marketing materials. Required phone and app installation as well. On install found that inKind doesn’t even work if you are ordering online for pickup.
No tracking or live support
I tried the inKind app, and after placing the order, I couldn’t find a way to track it manually. Also, the fees are too high per purchase. I couldn’t find any acknowledgment in the app for the delivery of my order and could not find any support.
Spamming text messages
Started spamming my phone number with marketing messages. I never subscribed or agreed to this. In the app notifications were already off. Despicable behavior. Deleted account and uninstalled app. Never using again. Regret ever giving them money.
Tips not based on subtotal
Only used once so far. Was nervous to use the first time but thankfully the server knew exactly what I was talking about when I asked to pay via InKind! Only annoyance was that the tip was not calculated based on subtotal- not sure what it was based on but it ended up being a little bit more than the 20% I had selected. I’ll have to double check the amounts manually next time.

Misleading!
This doesn’t work if they don’t take orders over the phone or have a pay at restaurant option for take out. Also ad I saw for it was $25 back but it was on $75 total - hate companies that use manipulation like that.
Restaurant Didn’t Accept
A restaurant I went to for the second time advertised $10 using this app, but when I got there there was no way to pay through inKind. Caveat emptor.
