Misleading!
This doesn’t work if they don’t take orders over the phone or have a pay at restaurant option for take out. Also ad I saw for it was $25 back but it was on $75 total - hate companies that use manipulation like that.
Restaurant Didn’t Accept
A restaurant I went to for the second time advertised $10 using this app, but when I got there there was no way to pay through inKind. Caveat emptor.
Getting worse and worse since launch
I have been steady user of this app. First they separate the use of reward and inkind cash(meaning you cannot use both to pay one bill). Now they separate “Cash” and “Cash Back”.

Good idea but be careful
Overall it’s a solid app for its kind. Though I unfortunately got scammed a bit today by an unclear system. It says that if you pre-fill your wallet with $500 you get a 25% bonus. Which sounds great, so I did it.
But when I went to pay the check, I found out that you can’t use the money you spent and still get cash back from the check itself, nor can you use any other discounts or offers. So basically I laid out $500 to get a 5% discount over what I already had (most of the restaurants I was looking at offer 20% back).
It’s still not a terrible deal, but it doesn’t inspire confidence in how they do business to find out that way.

App issues and doesn’t allow you to Pay!
App won’t allow you to use your inKind cash and then pay the remaining balance in my experience! This is terrible and needs to be fixed!
BEWARE!!!
This app/payment option is a scam! I was charged a $9 fee to pay my $35 restaurant bill. What a joke!

Doesn't work
I have tried using this app twice to save money on meals. I order the food, I get the bill, I type it into the app, I select Apple Pay, the transaction goes through, and an error occurs. There is no way for me to get credit for the transaction, and I end up paying full price. Uninstalled.

If you’re lucky enough to to have InKind restaurants nearby, then this is essential. The 20% cash back and the promotions are fantastic.

Two issues
This app is awful. I went through the process of doing my order and when I got to the payment part and selected my credit card, it auto filled an incorrect zip and expiration date on my card. When I tried to edit the zip I could but it wouldn’t allow me to edit the expiration date. I couldn’t even see what it said because the key pad would cover it and there was no slash option. I then tried to go back to just enter a different method of payment and the app shut down abruptly. This happened three times, all the while my card has three pending orders but the restaurant didn’t get any order. Thanks for making me approve all the cookies before allowing me to use this piece of junk app. Now you get to track this very unhappy customer.

I really love using InKind to get ideas about where to go for dinner. The app is so easy to use and links to reservation sites. But the best part is seeing available credits when paying a bill and also earning new credits!
