Current release has major bugs
Latest update has all kinds of UI errors. Icons off, bad alignment etc.

Insgesamt gefällt mir die App gut. Schnell und auch ansprechend gestaltet. Leider wird nur Sonos als Multiroom unterstützt, nicht aber Bluesound. Über das Speaker Icon kann ich nicht meinen Node 2 auswählen ... keine Ahnung warum nicht. Bin dann jetzt auf Roon umgestiegen und nutze den MK3 als Roon Server. Letztlich sind damit aber auch einige Mehrkosten verbunden. Und daher 2x Abzug

Excellent and powerful control app
Innuos Sense is a pleasure to use. The interface gives fast and precise access to locally stored as well as streamed music in a well integrated library with powerful search and browsing capabilities. The app also provides information on artists and music. It is also regularly and frequently updated with additional features based on user requests. The only area still needing improvement is the management of classical music: show clearly composer of playing track, grouping of works, display, search and browsing by conductor… Hopefully this will come soon

An Underrated Gem
I started using Sense v. 3.1.1 about 2 months ago with a ZEN Mini Mk3 SSD and am thrilled. Sound quality is great, same goes for the app's performance (speed and stability) on the iOS app and browser app via my Macbook Air.
The Search tool is outstanding. It sees my local library of ripped CDs as well as the millions of titles on Qobuz. (Tidal integration is offered too.)
Search results are accurate, displayed instantly, and logically grouped, making it easy to find a specific artist, album, track, etc. Classical music filters and navigation could be more comprehensive, but all platforms struggle with this genre.
Other streaming / playback features include Playlists, Internet Radio stations, and Podcasts — all which I seldom use but are nice to have.
Sense manages Backups (to USB or NAS) which is key, and it just works. Sonos and UPnP integration are options too but I have no experience with these.
Innuos provides excellent customer support and product support. Their technical support via email quickly solved an initial setup glitch (which I caused by error.) They maintain an active Community Forum for product news, bug reporting, etc. They also have a product roadmap called Feedback Zone that tracks feature requests and ongoing development.
So far, I’m delighted and happy to rate it 5/5 stars.

Schlechte Bedienung!
Schlechte und unübersichtliche Bedienung unter IOS und absulut keine alternative zu Roon von der Bedienung gesehen.

The Innuos Zenith works great and the Innuos Sense app keeps getting better with each new release.
Importing music from CDs is simple. Changing the metadata (cover images, dates, etc.) is straightforward and setting up playlists is easy.

1+ mit Sternchen
Ich benutze Innuos seit 3 Jahren nahezu täglich und kann nichts negatives berichten. Ein riesen Vorteil ist, das Innuos eine eignene Bibliothek erstellt und Musik aus verschiedenen Streaminganbietern zusammenfügt. Für mich klanglich ganz weit oben, und dazu eine benutzerfreundliche Ebene.
Decent but needs a big update
Probably a 3.5 in reality. Lots of silly little annoying things that could easily be fixed. So close to being great. Sound quality however is fabulous…a solid 5+ compared to Roon. Can’t wait for a big update
Viel zu umständlich
Wer seine zuletzt hinzugefügten Tidal-Favoriten anhören möchte, muss jedesmal zig Klicks ausführen. Die App ist nämlich nicht in der Lage, sich das zu merken, sondern fängt jedes mal wieder mit derselben Voreinstellung an. Die App ist leider genauso mies wie die Musikserver der Firma, die vor lauter Softwareproblemen das Musikhören vermiesen.

Noch nicht ganz perfekt, aber nah dran
Eine sehr strukturierte und intuitiv zu bedienende Benutzeroberfläche zeichnet diese App aus. Das Arbeitstempo ist gut. Keine Abstürze. Einziges leider für mich auch großes Manko ist, dass unter iOS keinerlei grundlegende Bedienelemente in den Sperrbildschirm integriert wurden wie es bei fast allen Mitbewerbern gelöst ist; so muss man immer erst das Gerät entsperren, die App aufrufen um simple Einstellung wie laut / leise oder ein Titel Skip vorzunehmen etc. Ich habe schon häufig gehört, dass sich viele Nutzer wundern, dass so eine smarte Standardfunktion für iOS nicht integriert ist. Bitte unbedingt integrieren. Danke

Too often mystifying and frustrating
Started off well, but the continual ‘updates’ just seem to stir in further layers of confusion and inconsistency without addressing questions of fundamental usability.
A few random observations:
Why are ‘tags’ sorted ‘by album’? Why does the resulting view observe no (intelligible) ordering?
Why can’t Innuos speak of ‘genre’ (the term by which music collectors have actually classified their collections since the year dot)?
Why do you sometimes initiate playback by touching a button with the word PLAY on it, and sometimes by touching a forward arrow triangle?
Why do some albums which played just fine prior to an ‘update’ simply refuse to play at all (with no error messages) following one?
Why does the playback elapsed time counter always start before the music, and then start all over again from zero when the music begins?
Why is the first second or so sometimes (but not according to a repeatable pattern) clipped off the beginning of tracks?

Good but could be great
I like the app a lot and makes the ripping of your CD’s all part of the fun of using the Zen mini. But, for me at least, the lack of chronological listing for albums is enormously annoying. Does anyone have any hints or tips please? I’ve tried a number in front of the title and letters and putting the release year in as an edit but no joy. Also feeding the CD’s in in the correct order and then reversing it without any consistent pattern appearing. An artists catalogue is just randomly listed.

Please give us the option to sort artists in alphabetic order within Qobuz, just like we can do with Tidal.

It doesn‘t work
was hoping for much better considering price of hardware
very unstable and inconsistent, missing lots of features that many others have. it sees all of my music but then says it can't find any songs to mix and play. locks up, have to close and restart. non existent customer support

Unfinished software with poor customer service. Sense is missing core features that every other music management software has.
-Albums have duplicate Tracks if you own more than one copy.
-No bulk Library management tools at all.
-Compilation Albumns are problematic.
Customer Support is aware of these problems and suggest really poor work-arounds such as deleting music in my library and fixing meta-data one track at a time. Thier feedback website feels like honest discontent is censored.

Ok but needs update
Not a terrible app but lots of annoying quirks, all of which could be easily fixed making it excellent
Sleek, and pretty great!
I own a hifi shop, so I’m constantly flitting between apps, comparing and struggling with over rich or poorly designed UI’s - as rarely are hifi companies also great at ginning up excellent, intuitive software.
From that standpoint, I rank everything within the context of “Apps for things that stream music”, and in that context, I really like Sense best. It’s fairly new, and not perfect by any means - but Innuos has been responsive with updates, and everything makes sense in terms of layout.
For a freshly released control app, it’s the best I’ve seen to date since streaming came on the scene, and I’m able to use it everyday without frustration or hitching. I’m very much looking forward to future updates as the roadmap for how Sense can be used seems pretty promising.
