I really wish it printed deeper colors but otherwise a fun printer.

landscape mode in ipad or iphone not supported

its a dedicated app for a wide format Printer that does not support landscape mode on my ipad.
I just wanted to use it as photo station for a party. a included photo feature in the app would help to see what format adjustments the print software will do.
i am not happy.

1 Star — Very disappointing editing experience

Cropping is frustrating and there are no filters at all, not even basic ones like grain. The editing tools also feel ineffective—adjusting contrast, brightness, or saturation makes almost no noticeable difference.

Worse, the crop doesn’t match the final print. Images come out about 10% more zoomed out than what’s shown in the app, so the printed result doesn’t reflect what I carefully framed.

For a printing-focused app, the preview and final output should align. The editing and cropping tools need a serious fix.

Good app

This is a good app for Instax. What would make it better would be a search feature. Search for a date, search for people, search for place, some of us have multiple pictures and want to print out all their pictures not just the most recent ones and it’s very hard to look them up with this app. It is very hard to look pictures up in this app special if you have more than 1000 pictures which most of us have in our phones.

Love it!

My beloved grape instax mini 8 had finally died after a real long time (I had one of the first.) & to replace it I decided to try the instax wide printer. I love it so much. It’s been a lot of fun. I took it on a women’s international retreat and the women and I appreciated having printed memories from our phones from the week. The app as worked exactly as it should. The photos are great. I have so many on my fridge.

Works as advertised

Although I wish all the instax apps weren’t all separate. This has a ton of template and options to write your own. I love that I can import to the instax up app without scanning now.

Reliable, with limited options

I like the app, it’s stable and reliable. Supports printer without issue and almost fully automatically (after first pairing).
What I miss the most is advanced features of setting the photo orientation and zoom that shows parametric adjustments instead of sliders.

From "Link WIDE development team". Thank you for contacting us, and we apologize for the inconvenience. We have found that closer the photo size is to W:H=2:3, area that gets cut off wii be smaller. So, if you could adjust the photo size to either 9:16 or 10:16, when taking photo or after, that would help you to print photos in requested size.
