Never works
Ok but needs big improvements considering how much you pay for bed and frame
Need to be able to set custom presets like you can on remote. Need app to be able to run in background or standby so doesn’t drain battery.
Lousy App for a Lousy Base
I am shocked at how awful this app works! I cannot adjust my bed from this app, only change the light colors!! After two weeks the app stopped doing anything so I’m trying to install again. The base is even WORSE! The “massaging” feature sounds like a tractor engine, not relaxing at all. This Purple company is a hoax. They really need to work on the technology because the remote light turns on constantly, which drains the heck out of my batteries!! The speakers beneath the base were the best feature, but the app doesn’t work with that!! Make this work so it will make sense as to why I spent thousands on this junk! I will take my RTG base over this any day!

Needs a UX overhaul
I want to like this app but it is nothing like any other app I use on iOS and that’s not a compliment. It uses odd an metal-like theme making it look more like a game than a functional application. The UX could be so much better.
I set an alarm and lacking any obvious means of deleting it I had to delete/reinstall the app to get rid of a wake-up alarm I didn’t want.
There’s no way to coordinate the features together and automate a sleep routine. The lights always default back to the same color. I’m certain the LEDs support millions of colors but the app offers just a handful and surprisingly red isn’t one of them.
Lots of other quirks.
Please Open Source the app and let developers around the world help out. At minimum, publish an API to allow 3rd party alternatives to be created.
If not, hire an iOS design firm and please replace the game-like UI with a quality UX.

Amazing base, awful app
I absolutely love my base. What a difference ZG can make, right?
But this app makes me lose more sleep than I did before. It’s absolutely awful. The user experience, functionality, and options are all awful.
-It recommends to start with a sleep program and run it all night, but then it turns off??

-No way to stop the motion lights. Love these flashing on at 3 AM because a dog is walking around. I can’t schedule these to go off at a certain time???

The App is horrible
Love the bases but nothing has worked right with this version of the app. I like the other app better. The sleep program shuts off if you turn off the screen which is not good for sleep quality. It claims a color option for light strip which is also not functional, position settings are wrong according to their perspective radio buttons. I have unplugged bed, deleted and reloaded app then did a re-sink to the bed and absolutely nothing worked. Please bring back the old app; it is way better!!! Paid too much money for the base not to function as marketed.

Genius!
This Sleep Genius base and app combo has so much more functionality than traditional adjustable bases on the market. Of course it has all the massage and different positions like traditional bases. The sleep music that plays through the stereo speakers BUILT INTO THE BASE is amazing! Thank you Intellibed for a great sleep solution.

I like it BUT……
The app does exactly what one expects, but it doesn’t turn off and drains the battery of the device it is on.
Here is my experience…
I get set in bed, get the bed positioned the way I like and run the sleep program for 90 minutes, I go out of my way to click the button to “leave” the app running but turn my screen off. Sometime in the night my body wants to shift into a sleeping on my side position, I use the Siri function to make the bed go flat. I go flat. This is where it fails, the app is running on my iPad and doesn’t go into standby or shut off mode, it just keeps running, screen on, through the night. I get up the following morning to a drained battery that needs to be charged to even use the device.
It would be nice to program bed positions and store them in app as the physical remote does.
Developers, please fix or explain.

Requires a $2500 mattress to do anything
Won't even play a chirp without the expensive bed. They used to have an app that worked independently and just gave you the sleep-inducing vibrations. This is not that; they got rid of the useful app that actually helped people in order to drive sales of their over-priced motel bed. Don't waste your time.

Won’t stay connected
This app is absolute rubbish, does not work or stay connected, I spend lots of money on this bed and I find myself using the remote.

Please contact Customer Support at 801 716 2888. Simply unplugging the base and plugging it back it will get it into pairing mode so you can reconnect.

Helps my kids go to sleep
I’ve used Sleep Genius for a while now. It really helps my kids wind down and go to sleep. The new base is really cool. I love all the features especially the zero-gravity
