Excellent but dated
It works but is very dated with graphics and function. There is zero swipe function which is not intuitive at all, you would think that swipe when on camera would go to next camera as the layout dictates. And a up or down swipe would go back to thumbnails. All the icons need updating, AI could create those in a few minutes. Outside of that it shows cameras, many different brands.

Solid app that has been effectively abandoned
I’ve used IP Cam Viewer Pro for years and it was one of the best universal IP camera viewers on iOS — great RTSP/ONVIF support, lots of camera drivers, and the developer used to be very responsive.
Unfortunately, the last update was February 2024 (version 4.0.5). Since then:
• No new camera support
• The support forum is gone/404
• No replies to support emails
• Patreon and website are quiet
The app still works fine for the cameras it already supports, but if you have newer hardware, need iOS 18/19 compatibility fixes, or run into any bugs, you’re on your own. It feels like the developer has moved on without any notice.
If you only need basic viewing of older cameras it’s still usable, but buyers should know active development and support have stopped. Would happily go back to 4–5 stars if the developer returns and updates it.

Works great on local or VPN webcams at home while traveling.
I have a mix of Tapo & Amcrest webcams. 16 at home & 10 on the RV when I travel. Using a home VPN, I can look at any or all of the cameras when I’m traveling. Easy to use and easy to set up groups for cameras that are used for security purposes.

Excellent full function app
This app works well with all my Amcrest and Dahua ip cameras and it does not collect any data which in this day and age is important.

Sitecom WL405 IP Cam wurde mit CD und Dienstprogrammen ausgeliefert, die heute nicht mehr zu bekommen sind. IP Cam Viewer beinhaltet beides. Zuerst Router mit Lan verbinden. IP cam viewer App starten und Lan Cam Produkt auswählen ( werden sehr viele Marken unterstützt) und User / PW für die Cam eingeben. Cam in App auswählen und verbinden.
Dann im Menü auf Lounch Cam Url klicken. Es öffnet sich die Browsereite der Camera!
(Je nach Cam auch SSL)Super. Hier kannst du ein neues PW für die Cam vergeben ( standard ist oft admin). Das ist dann auch das neue PW der Url. Aufnahmen als jpg, mp4 alles einstellbar und auf dem Handy in Fotos oder per Email ( auch FTP ) gesichert. Die Cam braucht dann nur noch eine Steckdose für das Netzteil. 5,99€ voll OK. Je cherche depuis longtemps une application qui permet de récupérer des caméras sur le protocole vif, celle-ci certes les récupère mais avec difficultés et en plus interface est horrible. Impossible de se connecter rapidement facilement à une caméra non je ne recommande pas du tout cette application.

lan und wlan cameras lassen sich nicht mehr mit iphone 16 über Fritzbox ansprechen. Funktioniert nur über Internetzugriff der Fritzbox

Update: 07/7/24 its been at least three years since I wrote the below review and my opinion hasn’t changed at all. It wrks 100% every time I use it. Even my suggestion to add real time picture control adjustment. If you’re having issues seeing or controlling a camera the issue is most likely something is set up incorrectly on the camera or app (operator error) or the camera is not listed in the tested known to work camera list.
I’ve been using this app for nearly 10 yrs. and have never had an issue. it’s connected to any camera I’ve throw at it & simply works. If I had any suggestions to improve the app I would say (if it’s technically possible) interface the camera picture controls of the cameras allowing the user to adjust brightness, contrast, etc. would be helpful. Aside from that I will continue to know whenever i need to monitor my property this app will preform every time.

Great app but limited support for Ring cameras
I have used this app for many years, and it supports a variety of DVRs, NVRs and ipcams, into a single interface. It is my goto app fir camera monitoring. The only problem is that it only seems to allow one Ring camera of each type - one doorbell and one stick-up cam. It would be great if this limitation was removed.

Slow frame rate
Multicam view frame rate is very slow. I am not sure if the app uses hardware decoding or not but my hikvision app displays 16 cameras at once with 15fps each. It would be nice if the multicam view frame rate could be improved.
No Pan/Tilt
Until recently, this worked great. Now every time I try to move the camera lens I receive a pan/tilt failed. What has changed? How can this be corrected?

It’s been a few weeks now and the cameras will not open. None of them. I have had this app for years and never a problem. iPad version is updated as is my iphone. What’s the deal.
I am concerned about delete and reloading as I don’t want to pay again. If this is what you are looking for I can move on.

Even works with the Foscam R5 that doesn’t have a web interface.
