App doesn’t work - frozen at menu - cannot open anything.
New version update message
Every time you launch this app, you get a pop-up message saying there is a new version to download from the App Store. When you click update now, it just takes you to the App Store and there is no actual update. This has been going on for the better part of 2023. I really expected it to go away with this new March 2024 update, but it still has the same problem. I find it amazing that they cannot fix this bug for so long.

Overall pretty good app. Works offline which is a great feature.

It works okay
It works fine enough, however the constant “new version update” message keeps popping up on app opening. select update now…just goes to the App Store …. Current version only….that is a pain. The weight and balance is pretty easy…depends on how accurate you are with the information sent to them. Runway analysis is a good feature and a must have for airports that are in question or high altitude.

The most essential tool available for jet performance planning
I’ve been an APG customer and iPreflight business aviation user since inception; the perfromance engineering staff behind this app are the best in the industry. Our company opperates 300+ jet aircraft and advocates all crewmembers use APG for every takeoff and landing, as do most commerical airlines.
The worst and last thing that should ever happen is to let ForeFlight anywhere near this product.

Works well enough, but…
It works well enough, but the constant app update available message o startup every time I try to use the app is annoying. No ability to update the databases without having the app open (no background update) seems like old faulty programming. What is good, is that it is far easier than calculating W&B and told numbers by hand, so there’s that.

Lots of issues
Crashing, not sending or receiving books, lots of problems.

While a okay program, it doesn’t seem like they care about fixing little issues like the update splash that happens when there is an update. But there really isn’t and if there isn’t then that splash shouldn’t come up. Also, app crashes about 1 time a day on average. Maybe they should just let ForeFlight buy them.

Last update won’t open on my 2 iPads
I updated to the latest version and now when I click the icon the splash screen comes up then immediately disappears the program will not run on either of my iPads with iOS 12.5.7. If you have this iOS DON’T UPDATE THE iPREFLIGHT PROGRAM!!

Very advanced for like 2001, just janky and too far behind garmin and foreflight

I am not sure what has happened but iPrefight now crashes every time I clear and refresh a/c and airports when I tap the create button to make a book. It is extremely annoying as the credentials are one use only and I have to go thru IT to get new credentials. Not happy that this has happened to me three times in the last month!!!

Major bugs
With this new update each time I open the app it says update available.
Update “Do-Loop”
Since the latest update, literally EVERY TIME we log into the app using an iPad it says “update available”. You go through the steps and it says “open”, SAME VERSION, this latest update seems buggy in many ways, this one is actually kinda funny but makes me nervous.

Latest update broken on iPad Minis
Multiple iPad minis in use at our operation. When processing performance steps the “back” button is intermittently not functional. Some of the pages have the buttons work better than others. Once you start the performance you can NOT exit out with the back button. The first page is completely non functional to exit. Your only option is to continue through all steps or force close the application.
