Comfortable and secure accommodation
I stayed here for a year during my masters and never had any issues with the accommodation. The staff are friendly and are ready to help at any time. Any issues or maintenance is attended quickly and gets done. It’s really a good secure accommodation and going to your part time in night or early hours never faced an issue. Will be missing it. All the best for the iQ team. Thanks to all the staff at Hayes Wharf for making my stay a pleasant one.

easy and efficient

Worst app i have ever been forced to use
Utterly hopeless at loading, Crashes more often than the Reliant Robin, never logs in properly, it runs slowing than Stephen Hawking after a liquid lunch even if you managed to log in. Completely unfriendly interface to users, plenty of irrelevant news that no one ever cares about, but NONE of the contacts to the reception or maintenance team, Let alone a hotline. ABSOLUTELY NO possible way to directly talk to anyone but a damn silly bot. This "app" has shown not an ounce of accountability nor redeeming feature.

Very dirty place, avoid at all costs, you can’t live here
To keep it short, it’s been 4 months I’ve been here, although I have made lots of complaints to the reception regarding the cleanliness of the flat and to make neighbours keep their dirt out, it’s unbelievably dirty and even people robbed my stuff from the kitchen! Avoid this place

Significant improvements to the app
So I have been using this app since 2022, and a lot has changed about it. Earlier, this app was glitchy, practically impossible to use as it had so many bugs and the UI was pathetic, felt like a child designed it. But starting this year, the UI has completely changed and the app now feels like somebody actually sat down and worked on it. I would say the app has become good ever since the new updates. Hopefully, this will be the case in the future too!!

The app is useful in terms of getting information such as when packages arrive. The signing in process did take a while but once I got over that hurdle it was okay.

Amazing student housing
This is one of the best student housing for students which is accessible to near by stores and university within walking distance. All the bills included with the rent and good security.
Great place to live
Staff are super helpful and really friendly. Lots of events on through the year, and lots of freebies. Staff feel like a family here, also very good laundry facilities (no circuit), good gym, study area and communal areas.

It’s convenient when looking for rent payments and for asking about maintenance that needs doing. It’s easy to use and is straightforward.
There are some drawbacks like booking the dining room or vacuum cleaner. It’s not as easy or straightforward as it should be.
Overall, the app is essential for your stay at iQ so it would be helpful if I didn’t have to sign in all the time, even though it now has FaceID. I still need to use my email and password.

Easy to Navigate
The new updated IQ app is so much easier to navigate and it’s now quicker to log in by just using Face ID. This is my second year living here at IQ Salford and it’s so cute and cozy.
