Con man
I bought these earbuds a couple years ago to help with my hearing loss in dealing with real estate clients from the moment I purchased these I regretted it. They were terrible. They never worked properly and had been a big waste of money thankfully, there’s other options available now, but I wish I was able to get my money back

Good but LACKS EQ
These provide good sound isolation and high-quality sound. The problem is there is no customizable EQ. I desperately need that for listening to music. I have emailed them for years saying they really need to get on this, or the competition will replace them. That has now happened. Earbuds that are cheaper offer everything these do, plus multiple personal EQ settings. I have 2 sets from this company and will never buy another set until they add customizable EQ

Changed terms after purchase, locked out
Purchased hardware to connect earbuds to TV and then changed their T & Cs. They locked the app until I agreed to the changed terms which included some terrible terms.
Beware.
Beware.
Basics don’t work
My buds have just arrived and the pairing doesn’t work. When I go to the help pages, the help instructions are wrong and at the bottom it tells me that only 20 of 150 people found the instructions helpful. If they can’t get basics like pairing right, how can I have any confidence that the rest of the software works? The online help is useless (it keeps pointing me to the page where the information is wrong) and when I submit a request, the “ friendly Customer Care Team’ might get back to me in 24-48 hours. It looks like this all marketing and no substance. Helping customers doesn’t seem to be a priority. Beware!

Useless after 13 months
Poor customer service. Buy Apple EarPods instead
IQ Stream doesn’t connect
The buds are ‘kind of’ OK but the IQ Stream won’t connect and I’ve since experienced that the support from this company is very poor having asked numerous times for specific testing of their ‘Stream’ device with a SONY Bravia TV - their support simply refers me to their videos and then closes the ticket. The Buds work well, but it’s let down by the stream product and their poor support.

Great idea, but the app is buggy and frustrating
This product is wireless… But the app is clearly under-developed and full of problems. The latest firmware release doesn’t work.
Awesome. But do we have a Apple Watch version?
Only been trying this one day but really excited with the results. Only thing is I usually don’t carry my phone everywhere with me and I notice as soon as I’m a few metres out of the house my earbuds disconnect and turn off
🙁
Searched for an Apple Watch version but couldn’t locate one. If you have one let me know how to access it. If not how about coming up with one? These are cutting edge trend setting world breaking devices. They need to also work with a smart watch or as a stand alone (like hearing aids and watches do) rather than being dependent on a phone
Otherwise huge congratulations on these. I’ve been using $5k hearing aids for years. But found turning off street sounds that become so distorted with hearing loss was more important than hearing. So invested in top of the range sound cancellation gear and rarely used my hearing aids. These buds do both with a tap of the finger. World off or sound up, ambiance off and hear clearly what people are saying even in noisy cafes.
Genius. Huge thanks 🙏

Terrible earbuds. DO NOT BUY THEM!!!
The iqbuds max earbuds are absolutely terrible! After three months of use, the earbuds no longer connect to phone. The device is totally broken and no longer working as intended. That is just awful for a $500 aus dollar product!
Buy a pair of AirPods Pro instead. Apples earbuds are far more superior compared to these absolute pair of plastic duds! And not to mention hundreds of dollars cheaper too!

The buds are great, app is frustrating
I love the buds. Absolutely amazing for my kind of hearing issues. The app is frustrating in that the Ear ID process is lengthy, and anything that comes up while you’re doing it, like a call or anything that requires you to leave the app cancels the process and you have to start from scratch.
So I did it three times yesterday before I got an Ear ID, and now this morning I logged in and it has disappeared, so I have to do the process yet again.
Also, when you select a profile to change settings, most of the time it doesn’t actually switch to that profile, so changes you make don’t get pushed to the app, you have to quit the app and go back in to make it select it.
I hope they can fix these issues. It’s an otherwise great product.

Much better than expected.
First, other than a purchaser, I do not have any connection with Nuheara.
I received my buds today. I ordered then on January 7, and have them today.
Positives:
Fresh out of the box, that had about 75% charge. Check.
Second, pairing with my phone was easy,. Check.
Third, able to adjust the sounds both outside and from my phone. Check.
Forth, the carrying case with battery backup for more life without a wire. Check. By the way, the web site does state that these buds a episodic, meaning not for hours and hours of continuous use. Check.
Negatives:
Bose is the other company I have used. One can get about 10 hours of continuous use, or about 8 hours as headphones while listening to music. Also, the ear buds are attached to a collar that hold the battery and computer.
So is the only negative I have so far. The buds drop out of my ears too easily. Especially in this day and age of using around-the-ear looped masks due to Covid. Putting a mask on and off is a chore with these buds. That is upsetting to me right now. As a crafter, I will developer a work-around such as a lanyard. Bose on the other hand, if the bud falls out, it is attached to a wire, thus does not drop to the ground or run the risk of getting lost, as I have with other earphones.
Comparisons, Nuheara vs Bose
Both provide directional, volume and pitch control. Having used both, I feel they work about the same. Esthetically, Nuheara “looks” better. No collar or wires. Personally, as a woman, I don’t care about the collar. I have been surprised at the number of people who don’t even see it until I take the buds out, for example.
Finally, Bose has stopped making their HearBuds, so I have no real choice but to go with something like Nuheara. This is no disrespect tot he company, just my preference as a frontline worker during this Covid pandemic, and not interested at all to lost these buds as they fall out too easily form my ears. But as I stated above, I will developer something that will at least prevent my losing them. (At $160 to replace, I don’t have that kind of money just laying around)
But Bose lasts longer, and much less worry of losing a bud

Excellent for those with hearing loss
I have moderate to severe hearing loss and am always on the lookout for ear buds. I run 35 miles a week and need something reliable.
I have the IQ Buds 2 Max and love them. They aren’t a replacement for my much more expensive Phonak Audeo Marvel 90s, but they are perfect for my daily runs. The set up process to customize them to accommodate my hearing loss was quick and easy. The case keeps them charged and they came with a wide assortment of tips. They don’t fall out even when I’m doing sprints. I highly recommend them.

App is stuck
I go through the First setup screens. It says connect to Bluetooth and come back. I do and I can’t get out of that screen or get to the app. Awful first experience.
Issues
Due to COVID I waited 3 months from time I ordered. Unit arrived today with a necessary firmware update. Since updating the earbuds will cycle through modes while chewing food. The battery also cycles up and down at random. 2 stars until fixed.
Wonderful
i’ve had these earbuds now for about a week. Are use them while riding my motorcycle, and just for my personal entertainment pleasure while I’m watching a movie on my iPad. I have never had such quality and such comfort well they would be headphones earbuds etc. I would recommend this product instantly and I have

Excellent set up for individual hearing
I have used this app for 2 years but just received some IQ Buds2 Max buds and did the auto Ear ID. It took a few minutes but the results were excellent. The sound is what I remember from when I was 18, clean, crisp and very natural. The App is very easy to use and so far glitch free. Bluetooth connection and reconnection was straightforward with battery percentage displayed and world level adjustment easy to change. The only addition I could suggest is information in the ‘Learn ‘ section on buying replacement tips. The foam ones seem to be Comply Isolation 160’s and I guess the soft silicone ones would be from Nuheara. The other useful feature I appreciated was control of the IQ Stream TV. A polished and useful App.

Videos (with audio) to set up earbuds, when the reason for buying them, was to improve hearing?
I can barely understand a word in the video tutorials. Why would anyone think the spoken word was better than the printed word to impart information to folks whose hearing is buggered? I’ve been trying to set up my Boosts for over an hour. I couldn’t get phone support. I’m “this close” to returning them!
