Don’t do it!
I downloaded & installed the new iQua2 app. I had to manually type in my current username email address & password. It rejected it. I tried several times. No luck.
I clicked on password reset & the system said it was going to email me the password Reset link. Nothing. I gave up trying.
I tried over & over again to reset the password.
The only solution was to delete the new app and reinstall the old one. I was able to login.

App sucks
iQua was fine until the updated it to 2. Need whole new login and need to be at unit to register. Nobody checked or cared. I will remove the unit and replace. If they don’t care about your privacy and software they don’t care about you. Be careful.
Waste
Does not connect to my current account and will not send the password reset to the email address on file. The app is Not ready for use by current IQua clients
Not fulfilling it’s basic purpose well
I am running the app version 1.5.3 - (156) on an iPhone 14 Plus v 26.6
There are no sound notifications when an alert happens
I had to enable the notification banner setting to be persistent in order to make sure I don’t miss an alert
The point of this device is to make sure the user will be aware of a leak immediately
Unless I open my phone to check notifications, I don’t know a leak is occurring
That’s why we have a ringtone so we don’t have to keep looking at our phone to see if somebody is calling us
Also, I suggest adding an option to go back in the history to see each day sage by the hour. Currently, once a day has passed, you cannot see the hourly breakdown of usage. At the minimum you should be able to at least go back one month to check daily usage by the hour.
And why isn’t there a dark mode option in the settings for battery savings?

Ghost notification
App does what it is supposed to do. Having a ghost notification is irritating. No way of clearing it.
Great product
I’ve had the product for over a month 56 days enjoying the product
However, delivery of ship product from Georgia to Texas did not survive the shipping. Please look into why. Better packing that’s where the problem is packing of product would resolve those problems. Also needs more controls in the having problems, keeping one router connected to it in a multi router system

Mediocre at best
The app is very glitchy and does not allow you to delete alerts. Even after opening the alerts messages, it continues to display alert notifications.
WHEC46 WiFi Water Softener
Our home had 2 Kenmore Softeners when we bought it. They both needed to be replaced as they were more than 20 years old in 2026. This one is very efficient and with the optional water shut off valve and alerts via its AP, I believe this is the go to solution, especially if you travel.
Not even getting email validation code
I tried 5 times with different email IDs.
I’m not able to register as I wasn’t getting validation code to my email.
Can someone look into this issue?

Great for detecting water left running.
I wish it had the ability to mass mark all alerts as read instead of one at a time.
Junk
Quit giving me info. No longer connecting to softener. Worked last year.
Effortless Monitoring
Easy setup and easy to monitor
Stopped working with iOS 26.2
App was great until I updated to iOS 26.2. Now the app presents a login page with blank text boxes and no connectivity. Even restarting my iPhone 15 and uninstalling and reinstalling did not resolve the problem. Please fix this ASAP.
Love it
This water softener is amazing, our water is so hard it’s at 50 GPG it’s been on line for over 70 days and I’m still on the first 4 40lbs bags of salt, super efficient….
Not accessible.
Does not work with Voice Over, a screen reader, that visually impaired folks use to navigate an app. Shame on the developer for not making the app more inclusive as it is not difficult to do so. VO users should stay away from products that use this app until the developers makes it more inclusive.
