Pathetic service
An app supposed to assist customers in making and managing their bookings hassle free but this app will continue creating issues in each and every step of booking. Cancellation of ticket seems like an alien option for the app to which it’s not responding yet after trying several times.

Issue with every aspect of the app.
1. Otp never arrives on time while changing password or forgot password.
2. Changing of ‘to’ and ‘from’ doesn’t update and flts of default places are shown.
3. Dates of travel does not get updated and flts for current date is shown even after changing multiple times.
4. Even after multiple negative reviews the app developers/ IRCTC are reluctant to put any effort to make better the application.

Give whole business to private players..
Don’t waste customers time. I booked flight twice and paid ₹ 1.2 lakhs each time & finally failed. My money stuck and next time I wl try price will go up

The app has improved. However, recent search show oldest at top and newest at the bottom. There is no way to sort.

No guarantee of ticket issuance by airline till next few hours after booking.. surprised to hear when I called customer care
No difference in defence fare
Why did u create an option as defence fare when u dont give any difference in that. Official websites of airlines are giving special discount over defence quota but don’t know from where you are taking the quota. Dont loot defence personnel 🙏🏼
Major issues
When I search for any flight it is not able to show the name, even I am not able to select the date because date Tab is not visible it is almost white
Ticket booking getting failed at payment page
I have tried booking tickets through this app multiple times but every time booking was getting failed after the payment, app also crashes most of the time

Stability need to be improved. Its been more than a year I am using this application, but app is crashing all the time. Sometimes feels like disgusting. If you guys developed the mobile app, why don’t you guys make it perfect? While making payment app crashes, for refund I have to wait more than 15 days, who will give interest for 15 days. If you guys can’t improve the app, Remove the app from iOS store. I hope this review make you understand that if you change yourself, that’s great, but if people change you, 100% it will be painful.

Proves it to be a government site which is not reliable.
We have such brilliant brains in India yet government uses some fried one. Either don’t build the app or if you are building one, you make sure it works properly. And it’s not just the app, even the website has same issue. Last 3hours, it’s showing error only.
Please try to improve your website.

Need to improve stability of the stability & performance of the app.
And also in calendar flight rate has to be included unable to see the flight rates on a particular date,& need an Apple wallet support.

Why would I use this app when I don’t get an option of both railway and air ticket together ? I can think of Using this app only if I get both option together as in Goibibo , mmt ,etc we have to pay connivence fee over and above irctc charge even in case of railway ticket if u could give us both option I would rather use this app in place of using others. But if developers think people will move to irctc air app just because they know irctc it would be foolish.
