Best housekeeper I ever had ! Sit and enjoy a coffee while Ruby Roomba vacuums the house (or get on with something else). Considering upgrading to the self-emptying model so I can set a schedule and forget for a while.
Update: we now have the i7 in the house and Ruby has been relocated to my art studio. She is semi-retired and only works two days a week.

I so wish my review was better….. My iRobot is named “Kyle”. My wife and I have dust allergies and hoped Kyle would keep dust to a minimum on our hardwood floors.
Kyle is very unpredictable. He might work fine in the morning and have problems for the next few days?? Honestly, AI has been the best was to address all the problems and issues but still a long way from reliable.
I’m somewhat tech-savvy but this has tested my armor. Unfortunately, I won’t recommend this vacuum to anyone. I hope that the engineers who design these vacuums can improve them someday.

It gets confused
I’ve had this one for a couple years, and it just gets lost sometimes like it’s brains missing and then it starts working again, then it stops then it starts. Unlike other iRobot products I’ve used.

The classic is a great little cleaner.Have used for several years and it still works great.
I don’t think they make it anymore, but I would recommend iRobot products. Seems good and durable.

Great for older folks
Our IRobot is great. After initial setup over a year ago it has performed really well. We have a fully tiled. Bachelor suite in Costa Rica. It gets under tables and bed where we have difficulty reaching. I clean it out after every session but only with dry brush and damp sponge. Do not use mop function. I do that by hand mop. Quicker and at least gives me exercise. 😄😄👍🏻. Thanks for a well designed device with good strong materials.
