New Zone Troubles
Every time it finds a new zone, it has a plus sign in it, and I tried to name it or add it to one of the Cleaning programs and it tells me each time that there is an error on Roomba’s part and let it discover that area again this is been happening for months and it rediscovered those same areas all the time and gives me the same excuse …….getting frustrated!!!!

My family has the i3 and we love it, even named him Steve… we have a small pug that sheds like crazy. Idk what I would do without are little robot Vac buddy …
If poor Steve passes away…we’re definitely gunna be buying a new and improved vacuum buddy because we couldn’t be more happy with our purchase!

One great product
I live in a 950 sq ft apartment with wood floors. Somehow, I ended up with about 7 various size rugs .
That said, my unit cleans 3 times a week. It does an exceptional job.
I was just looking at my stats and it’s completed over 400 cleanings.
Now the downside
The unit has dictated where I place things in my apartment. Otherwise it will constantly get stuck. I have to replace brushes and filters every 4-5 months at about 10 bucks.
However,
Well worth it. I’m amazed at the amount of dirt accumulated in just a day.

Love my original 900 series but nothing but problems with i3
I have had my 900 series iRobot for many years and love it. Recommended to family and friends etc. still have the 900 series vacuum and use it upstairs.
2 years ago I bought a new model, the i3 series and have had nothing but issues. Most of the problems seem to be with the navigation system.
This model constantly gets “stuck” in the middle of the floor (no obstacles) and ends the job early. I have remapped several times, rebooted etc, even exchanged it for another one but issues remain. It has issues about every 3rd time of use. Honestly it is more trouble to use than pulling out my regular vacuum.
Hate is a strong word but I can no longer recommend this product.

Great robot except for the air that says the lid is open and it won’t communicate
When the vacuum runs, the lid will not stay closed and it tells you please close the lid or it loses communication with the documentation so it cannot return home the empty how do you fix the door the round gold one so it stays closed
Hard working
Best buddies, I have four now. Mine are 900 series and j3 or 7 not sure. I have had a few issues in the past but your customer service team always helps me out. Thanks great product and support.

We named our robot boo. Boo does an excellent job still after having her for 6 years

We had two different brands and the Roomba out performed the other brand by far. We’ve had it for 6 years and it is still running.

The robot works well. I'm disabled so it's a lifesaver for me. The components are easy to change when needed so I've never had to have it serviced. The only thing I dislike is that the battery is often out of stock. The manufacturer battery lasted me 6 years. The first aftermarket battery I purchased lasted 6 months.

App is terrible
App rarely works properly. I can rarely switch from vacuum to mop without issues. Most of the time I cannot even get the mop to work because the app freezes on the vacuum page.
Help and intuitive
This app is a wonderful job of not only keeping up with maintenance, but also ensuring that your iRobot’s are being used and effectively kept up-to-date.
Updates
Finally, i uh t is good my iRobot is constantly updating to offer a better job. When I bought it years ago it was not like that and it destroyed 4 of my very fine Persian fringes.

Does an okay job most of the time. Gets lost frequently, especially if asked to vacuum 2 areas.
Time saver
I have the i4 and s9+. Very efficient time saving devices. The programming glitches slightly once in a while, still worth the hassle. The i4 is good for simpler, smaller areas and the s9+ does well with the long pile carpet we have and is much better with navigation. The self empty feature into the base is wonderful and the updated map features on the s9+ are fantastic! With young boys I am able to spot clean the dining area with the touch of a button.
