Data ok but new interface is a step backwards

I’ve been using the app for some time and am happy enough with the data I see but the latest update has made it almost impossible to read the screen on a smaller phone. The huge picture of a house but tiny fonts is not needed and having the graph and other data on a second tab was much easier to read, now it is all too tiny. Please go back to the old interface style or make it an option to increase font sizes.

The old interface also made it easy to scroll through the days and see your production and usage data but now there is no simple way to quickly change the day without going into the graph, selecting the day, deselecting the single 5 minute time and then looking for daily or weekly data.

I note feedback to others that have complained about the change has not resulted in admitting that the new interface is not good. Sometimes a change needs to be undone when your users feedback is so negative. It wasn’t needed, sorry.

New UI is not good at all. Unable to manage multiple plant.

If you manage multiple plants new UI has made it much more difficult to manage these you can't compare them on the go. No place to see faults. Generation and revenue tabs are kept different you can't see them together if you want to see both together on week, month etc. My whole work flow is affected and without any intimation.

After App Update

After App update, the app is not at all good. It is not showing equivalent hours. Solar produce per day, even live Data is not available. Please include both of this on your new update fix.

Neue Ansicht unintuitiv

Please Give Us the Classic Graph Back

⭐☆☆☆☆

Since the update I spend more time trying to interpret the graph than actually understanding how my system is performing.

The latest update is a major downgrade in usability.

I’ve used iSolarCloud every day for a while to monitor my solar and battery system, and the old version was far easier to understand.

The previous Energy Analysis graph was excellent because it:

* clearly separated Solar (PV), Home Load, Grid, Battery and Battery State of Charge.
* made grid import and export immediately obvious by using positive and negative values.
* showed the battery SOC as a clear, continuous line across the graph.
* let you understand your home’s energy flow with a quick glance.

The new version is the opposite.

The graph is cluttered, the colours overlap each other, and it takes much longer to work out what’s happening. The battery SOC graph has been reduced to a tiny chart at the bottom of the screen, making it much harder to relate battery level to solar production and household usage.

The old graph allowed me to answer questions like:

* When did the battery start charging?
* When did the house start importing from the grid?
* How much solar was covering the house?
* When did the battery begin discharging?

The new graph makes all of these much harder to see.

The home screen also provides less useful information than before.

As someone who invested significantly in a Sungrow solar and battery system, I check this app several times every day. Good monitoring software is just as important as good hardware. Unfortunately this update feels like a redesign focused on appearance rather than functionality.

Please either:

* restore the previous graph layout, or
* provide users with the option to choose between the Classic and New dashboard.

The old interface communicated the data much better.

Response from developer

Thank you for your feedback. You can switch the homepage display mode via the following path: Settings → Flow diagram Settings → Classic Mode. This mode is identical to the updated homepage display. At the same time, you can tap 'Edit' at the bottom of the home page to add modules like the 'Energy Analysis' chart, allowing you to view detailed operating data for your devices. If you would like to discuss it further, please kindly contact us at isolarcloud@sungrowpower.com, include your server region, your device S/N, reference no.A0720A. We look forward to resolving this for you promptly.
