I am using iPadOS 26.5.2, and I have been seeing various glitches during 2026. One glitch is when using Search to find an artist or album. When I click away from the Search window, the software gets hung up. I have to close and do the Search again. Another glitch is happening in July 2026, and this one doesnāt allow you to click an album to see the list of songs it has. When I close iTunes then, it has difficulty re-starting. Seems to run through a loop, as the text in upper left cycles in a flash sequence about 8 to 10 times.

I Can See Iām Not Alone In This!!!
I must say this has been my favorite places to download albums/ songs from iTunes vault. And was able to see the entire albums where the songs where. But now, since the last few updates Apple been doing. It has made it impossible to selection and open an albums to see all the songs listed. Unless you see the music you want to hear in the section below it. Please bring back the format for buying music from music album catalog I have been admire! It is annoying to pick or check albums and nothing happens to see all songs list!!!! Please fix this!!! Thanks!!! Still like iTunes! But do make this work again!

Horrible glitches, search engines and indifferent support
I donāt have nor do I want a Music subscription. I do buy my music through the iTunes Store and it has become a frustrating experience to deal with. Mainly, I can no longer use links to get to the store because the links donāt work. Links from 3rd party apps such as Shazam stopped working and that doesnāt surprise me as Apple wants to be a monopoly. But links donāt work even from within the Music app. The Music app is the only way to search by artists because you canāt search by artist within the iTunes Store. Even when I could successfully link to the specific album from other apps, half the information about the album is missing or covered up. Which baffles me because that information is prominently displayed in the Music app. I have searched for reasons why on the internet, through Apple communities and Apple support and I still have no answers. If that was my only problem with this app, Iād just suck it up like I have been for years. But now that the links to the store are broken, I canāt find anything to buy anymore. More importantly, Apple support straight up doesnāt seem to care that the links are broken because ITunes Store is dead weight loss for them. So all of these bugs and glitches are never going to be fixed because there is no profit for them to fix them. They are getting 2 stars because they were a decent app while they had support from their parent company. If they would just fix the obvious problems instead of ignoring the problems, it would probably be a decent app again.
Update: I keep hoping that one day, Apple Inc would try to fix, not fix, TRY TO FIX, their broken products. They donāt even acknowledge that thereās a problem at all, so fat chance of getting someone to fix them. This is such a frustrating experience to search for music that isnāt being shoved in your face regardless of what kind of music you listen to. Thatās the reason why they invade your privacy so they can do something with that information to actually help you. One would think that they would use the information to sell their customers more music. But they have abandoned that notion and now they push a subscription model only. And it is totally obvious. Which means iTunes is not going to get fixed or betterā¦ Ever. This is just another bad review hidden in plain sight with all the other millions of reviews, never to be read because who reads them anyway.

Stole 50$ and they wonāt help me at all
Put in a $50 iTunes card and the balance didnāt go on there, but it gave me a free 2 month subscription for Apple TV for redeeming it so I know it was redeemed every time I call they say that itās been handed up to some sort of different department and they can do nothing about it This is day 12. No one will help me and Iām out 50 bucks. Iāve been using Apple for 20 years and for the first time I regret it. I canāt even check to see if anybodyās even doing anything about it but after 12 days and itās pretty obvious

Broken again!
On a new iPad Pro, I open iTunes, search for am artist, get the result set back but when I click on an album to see the track details nothing happens. Iāve deleted iTunes Store app. Resinstalled, didnāt fix the issue. I know Apple want us to go to subscription service, but i donāt want that. Apple seemed hell bent on shafting its users. Removing our encryption and privacy, doing a deal to use Israelās chips (despite Isrealās numerous patents on what they plan to do with Apple, to spy on use and despite the safety fears, everyone forgotten the exploding pagers with Isreal chips) I was thinking of buying a iPhone 18, not anymore. Youāve ramped up the prices and. Stiffed your client base.

What a disappointment
Not having access to my cd collection I thought Iāll buy some of my favourites here.
Learning now how horribly bad the quality is 256 - thatās it. Napster was better. To get proper standard CD quality you still have to buy a CD. Subscription streaming is simply no alternative. More and more people will learn that the hard way.

Neglected Orphan?
One of Appleās own apps, in 2026 its iTunes Store keeps crashing repeatedly. Itās almost as though Apple is no longer interested in the income it could derive from people purchasing music from this application programmed to let people purchase music from it.
