Device tracks fine, app is junk
For the first few months, my Leaf Urban was reliable in tracking steps during the day – it often displayed more steps than the Health app, despite being set to read AND write from Apple Health, but I was able to accept this. However, after about 3mos, it glitched a couple times, where it wouldn’t sync steps with the app. More recently, this has been happening every few days. It doesn’t seem to matter which troubleshooting tactics I try – restarting the app, restarting my phone, updating the iOS, un-pairing the device, removing and reinserting the battery, etc. – nothing resolves the issue permanently. I can no longer go 3-4 days without it suddenly not syncing properly. I bought the Leaf so I wouldn’t have to have my phone on me to track steps – but now I need to have my phone on me to track steps accurately, since I never quite know when the Leaf will stop working. I’ve reached out to Ivy support, with no response. I’m presuming it’s an app issue, as the Leaf still tracks sleep every night. This device is starting to feel like a waste of money, and I’m not sure how long I will continue to use it, if the app doesn’t receive a serious overhaul.

No Response From Support
I’ve had two Bella beats and they just do not work after a while. No connecting, no response via email. Go with a more reputable company.
All-around decent app
I quite enjoy my Bellbeat Leaf tracker – I appreciate how it doesn’t look like every other wearable, and has versatility in how it can be worn. The price point is perfect for someone who doesn’t need all the bells and whistles, but wants to track a bit more than just steps. The app interface is relatively user-friendly, and has a nice aesthetic to it. The only reason I’m giving four stars is because the app doesn’t seem to work well with Apple Health. Leaf always tracks more steps than are shown in my Health app graph. It can be off by anywhere from a couple hundred to a couple thousand steps. When I look at the data sources for Apple Health, it does actually list the number of steps as determined by Leaf—so I’m not sure why it ends up showing less steps in the graph. Otherwise, I have no issues with data accuracy.

AMAZING but literally EVERYTHING is premium💔
I LOVE the app,I recommend it to literally every girl in my friend group! I love how supportive and amazing it is💕
But literally EVERYTHING is premium so it makes it hard to enjoy from time to time☹️

6 years of data gone
I’ve been using this app for at least six years and I’ve tracked monthly… I’m perimenopausal and the log was very helpful as my medical providers and I navigate this phase of life. Yesterday when I opened the app, all of my data was gone. Hugely disappointing. Moving onto Apple health I suppose.
Doesn't really work with my hardware
This app is designed for the Ivy device. Very few of the functions work with my Leaf. It syncs, but the Leaf doesn't have bluetooth and can't track my heart rate. I know you want us all to buy the Ivy, but I bought the Leaf several years ago, and it was expensive, so there should still be an app that has more than minimal function for the Leaf.

Oh bellabeat, what happened?
This product and app worked pretty well back in 2017 but nothing seems to work now. It’s a bummer, because the jewelry is beautiful.
I hope you take all the feedback from your customers to heart.

Don’t waste your money
App doesn’t work, help form doesn’t work, product doesn’t work. Absolute garbage. Don’t waste your money. Zero stars.

Not accurate whatsoever
I’ve been getting more into fitness lately, and have been wearing my Bellabeat on my shirt or pants every day. When I try to sync it, it takes forever and I’m tapping it for like 5 minutes trying to get it to connect. Once it connects, I see my daily activity and it’s not accurate at all. 1.5 hours of nonstop pickleball and the app says I had 10 min of exercise that day.. with only a few hundred steps taken. I’ve been moving into a new house, and walking back and forth for weeks (I literally have not sat down more than 3 times in my new place) and still barely any steps are being tracked. For the price of this device it’s not worth it. I have the necklace/clip on leaf.. which I was so excited about at first.. but now I’m very disappointed. I hope the other products they make work better. 😔

Does not sync with Apple health
Update: I have sent an email to support and received no response.
Despite setting up the integration with Apple health, the mindful minutes and water are not syncing. Only steps. I wish this app didn’t require so much manual entry and synched with apps that are already automatically tracking. For example Apple health reads from hidrate (water) but this app doesn’t read it. Apple reads my meditation minutes from Peloton but it is not coming over to Bellabeat.

NO COMPREN PRODUCTOS BELLABEAT. Van a tirar su dinero a la basura, ni siquiera se como reparar, reciclar o tirar los dos productos que yo tengo, que uno esta desactivado y el otro (que era el repuesto) dejó de funcionar.

Lots of bugs
I have a love/hate relationship with this app/product. There are a lot of bugs - for example with pairing, syncing, all of a sudden the water intake won’t record, sometimes it shows that I have hit my step goal but when you look at the details it looks like it stopped recording steps halfway through the day based on the actual step count. However, I do think the period tracking piece is accurate.

Not supportive
I love the idea of the app. I was very excited to try it. However I cannot force it to log my steps or anything from the Apple Health. I tried switching it on and off even reinstall the application but nothing seems to work.
I also wasn’t able to find contact for the app support and that is a big red flag for me. Users should be able to easily send feedback to the developers. When I went to the support page and tried to look for it, I got 404 Not Found instead of solution to my problem.

I love love love Bellabeat…
I bought their leaf nature in 2015 when it first came out, and been using Bellabeat ever since. But once i put in my password the app (and period diary) completely crashes and won’t even open. Please fix this!
Can’t even open the app due to glitching!!
I’ve been trying to change my login information for the app “P.D.”. Apparently I need to sign in to this app “bellabeat” in order to access that information. I’ve been trying to do this, but have been unsuccessful. As soon as I go to the settings option in bellabeat and click on the section for personal info. (where it allows you to change things like height), the app glitches and closes. I’m not sure how to proceed from here. Please fix this!!

App gets worse with every update…
I’ve been increasingly disappointed with each update over the past year or so. The ability to track data gets worse and worse over time! The most disappointing thing I’ve noticed with the most recent update is the “Log A Nap” feature. Need to log a nap of more than 60 minutes? Now you have to log each hour separately as the max “nap length” is now only 60 minutes. Ridiculous and the least user friendly app update I’ve ever had the misfortune of encountering.

Bag
It doesn’t count water intake properly. In daily progress shows zero when I goes to water pages it has all data of each entry.
Beautiful product, clunky app
I love the way the product looks. I was never a fan of being super connected to a watch and getting too many notifications every hour, but I did want to track my activity. I would imagine that most people who buy this product feel similarly about not being glued to tech. However, the app wants you to be invested in it all the time to get your “wellness” score. In addition, the data obtained from the app doesn’t Correctly sync to apple health or other apps. It literally only syncs the step count even though it can track the mileage. I’m Also not a fan of having to manually sync the app with my leaf. If the Leaf is supposed to fit seamlessly into my wardrobe I want the app to also be as seamless in my life. Hopefully upgrading the tech is a high priority item. Until it improves, I recommend this product to others with a “well, it works okay…”

Overpriced for what it tracks
the tracker is not accurate. It doesn’t track sleep accurately. (I suspected it & used another device)
It doesn’t track my activity on rowing machine …
It’s just a very expensive step counter

Thinks I have Ivy when I have Leaf
Silly app only gives me the option to pair/sync Ivy. Which is not the device I have.
