Very Basic and No Push Notifications
I like the features the EVSE has but the app is very limited. The charging sessions reports don’t show average kW rate. What it is fundamentally lacking though are push notifications. If the charge is interrupted and the app isn’t open, how am I supposed to know? If the plug or connector temperatures reach unsafe levels, I won’t get a push notification?
Update: July 2026. The app glitched yesterday and showed that the IYILO EVSE was still charging my vehicle but the telemetry wasn’t updating. The time, power rate and delivery, amperage wasn’t updating even after I had unplugged my car. I tried all troubleshooting and couldn’t get the charging session to reset. The EVSE itself was still working but the app was useless. It took a while to get ahold of customer support and they did acknowledge there was company server issues that was causing the app issues. It was fixed after a few hours and now the app is working again.

Easy setup
The Iyilo station and app work well together - very easy to set up. Shows great detail, all I need to know.
