Never Updated for Jammy E

Jammy E is 100% useless from factory. Firmware update, through this app, is needed to fix unplayable instrument. But Jammy company never revised this app. It does not recognize Jammy E. This app is only for Jammy G. I wasted $400 on Jammy E. Can’t sell it. Total loss.

Too focused on sales, not service

I was a kickstarter for the Jammy Evo. I received it two weeks ago. Negatives; there’s no reliable software to help set it up to its best potential. There an IOS app that I tried. It wouldn’t recognize the guitar. MIDI recording with it is crazy. It’ll play about 20% of the notes wrong. It gets hung up on a note when you change chords while I am being very careful on how I play. An example. If you play an open C chord (C-E- G) 2nd inversion then plan an open F chord F-A-C, the guitar will hang up on the F note when you change to F. In this example the result is an F Major 7. With the unwanted E note. Other times it hits notes that aren’t in any chord group. There are so many problems like a advertised VST plug in, but there isn’t one and you are steered towards another sales page. The guitar is built redivlously cheap, which I think most buyers understand, but playing this guitar is very hard to play. It is mentioned that there is a strap to help hold it, though it’s not made. mTh are no directions to set up slides or bends. I’ll stop here but there is much more.
Pros: this company is putting a huge effort to progress the technology of a midi guitar. Which deserves community support, unless they don’t repair their deficiencies.

I never laid eyes on this thing

You can’t update apart from you after having to be online at you tweaking it to the point where you know it’s not simple to use you make changes you have to be online too

No sound

Just got guitar, downloaded the app on my iPhone XR and there is no sound at all. I’m using the standard Apple headphones that plug into the phone. Maybe I’m doing something wrong but if so, they have not me but ones any other way of hearing sound through the app. I mean no sound at all, not even the backing tracks make a sound.
