Scheduling
For the past two months, my schedule has been working perfectly. However, within the last week, it has started reverting to a schedule with a pattern that I never preset. This happens every day like clockwork.
I’ve tried resetting the control and redownloading the app, but neither has resolved the issue. I also do not have the Designer app and never have.
At this point, it seems like this has to be a bug.

Reconnect Issues
Every time there’s a controller update, trying to reconnect is garbage. Did everything in the trouble shoot, still nothing
New Update Bricked My Lights
Why on earth would you release an app update that requires a firmware update that continuously fails? This has effectively bricked my ability to change my lights via my phone. Guys, it’s not that hard. Use Claude code if you have to.

I have tried for the last 2 months to get the app on my phone to control my lights, without any success. Tomorrow, l will reach back to the installer to see if they can help. I will update this review as necessary but as of right now (June 29, 2026), l am extremely frustrated and disappointed with this purchase and my experience since purchasing Jellyfish lights.

Difficult to use app
This app does not make sense to me. Where is the done button. Why is there two off buttons on my setting??? My mind is not understanding multiple identical buttons. I pick a light setup and think it’s ready for sunset only to have an older one lit up. Give me a done button please.

For the money you pay the app is really confusing and doesn’t seem to work very well not super happy with it when you want to customize lighting.

App doesn’t work
I’ve purchase Jellyfish lighting before they change to the iCloud version. Ever since jellyfish new iCloud App came out my system will not hold the program I choose. The next day the lights turn on to the same old light setting. If I want a new lighting setting I have to change it every day. I called and was told because my lighting is an older system I would have to pay, if I remember correctly it was over $100 to have someone come out and look at the system. I’m very disappointed in the service to correct my issue.

I have wanted Jellyfish Lighting on my house for sometime. After purchasing my latest home, I decided this was it, it was time. I was extremely pleased with my outcome. To begin with the price was extremely affordable, considering today’s market and the way things are priced. Then, there was estimate and consultation. Then there was the install. In every phase I was provided with excellent customer service. Everything was quick and easy. Especially the installers. I got professional installation in a timely manner with absolutely no interruption to anything else I was doing that day. I was given great patience and thorough instruction on how to use it, and how to get answers to any questions I may have moving forward. I would strongly recommend that if you would like easy, no care, and fantastic presentation lighting on your house, you would give Jellyfish Lighting a call. Hard to find things these days they’re actually worth what you pay, and this is one of them.
